Benchmark Restaurant is a learning enterprise at the Canadian Food and Wine Institute. Nestled in Niagara, one of Canada's culinary capitals, this restaurant features farm to table cuisine paired with exceptional VQA wines and NC Teaching Brewery beers.
The Canadian Food and Wine Institute’s state-of-the-art facilities are nestled into 114 acres of abundant Niagara land. Students learn through the hands-on practices of Canada’s only teaching winery and teaching brewery, and food technology and research programs. They also learn from 40 acres of active vineyards, a greenhouse and Chef’s garden, orchards, outdoor classrooms and living laboratories. Benchmark is the next evolution of this hands-on learning process.
