We arrived at the place 5 min before our reservation and nobody greet us or noticed us even when there were 3 girls in the front counter. We waited to be seated about 10 min after the time of our reservation. Place was busy on Saturday so def recommend to make reservations. Food was good especially the chicken fried rice and the show provided by the chef was good as well. Chef was very friendly and funny. We were 7 people at the table and he had to cook separately for almost everybody. Waitress was also very patient and friendly. Leaving pics and video of the food ordered.
The food at this place was delicious, but the chef at our communal hibachi grill table didn't quite match up to the expertise of other chefs we've seen. While the dishes were tasty, the chef didn't showcase the mesmerizing culinary techniques we were hoping for. One positive aspect was the chef's habit of sharing leftovers with the table, which added a nice touch of generosity. However, the noisy atmosphere was a downside. Despite these drawbacks, the food itself was enjoyable.
Laz, the manager came by, and he helped us out with everything. Jean was our chef and he was excellent, and our server was really nice. The food was amazing, we all loved it and the performance Jean gave us. We’ll definitely come back for sure :Food: 5/5
This was our first time at the Benihana at coral gables. We had reservations open table and once we checked in at the hostess stand we were seated very quickly on the second floor part of the restaurant. It’s quieter up there which I liked and not as well lit as downstairs. We were served our soup and salad in a timely manner, drinks were good. My husband had the sangria that was tasty and I had the hibiscus tea which was sweet but good. The chef was great overall. He did some fun tricks with throwing knives and with the food and fire. The meal was accurate except my husband did not get his chicken just the steak. My shrimp were excellent, the veggies were really good, steak was tender and the fried rice was tasty. The edamame was surprisingly good as well! The staff were pleasant and our waitress was attentive and folks were checking in on us throughout our meal to see if we needed anything. They brought my son a surprise ice cream with a candle and sang him happy birthday which he loved. They treated us very well, we will go back.
I always come to this exact Benihanas , The customer service was great! The chef that I received was very well mannered and knew exactly what he was doing. My food was great and tasty. The atmosphere of the restaurant is A1!Food: 5/5
It was the standard Benihana experience. Beautifully located in Corals Gables downtown area. I recommend parking in the parking garage behind the building, it’s only a couple dollars. We made reservations but had to wait about 20 minutes. Our server was very attentive. The chef asked about allergies and made sure to cook my meal separately. Great place for the kids!
our service was great. appetizers and drinks came out quick. the chef was nice and the food was phenomenal Dietary restrictions: they asked if there is any food allergies. once by the server and again by the chef Parking: convenient garage parking behind the restaurant
Great service overall! Everyone was very attentive and patient when I asked questions about the menu. Chef Julio did a wonderful job cooking the food. Manager Laz even offered to take our family picture. Very family-friendly environment!Food: 5/5
I recently dined at Benihana, and it was truly a remarkable experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming.The highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the Benihana trio. The steak was cooked to perfection, bursting with flavor and tenderness. The shrimp were nothing short of amazing, and the chicken was incredibly flavorful. I’ve been to so many other Benihana but this one was legit the best one I ever had!!! Wow
You would think this place is overpriced but you’ll be surprised to find it is not! It is worth every penny. The food is delicious, our chef Douglas was great! Laz, the gentleman that greeted us and sat us down was very profesional and friendly. And our server Daniel was also very quick and attentive. 10/10!!!!!!
