I’ve worked at a shop nearby for 4 years and have regular need for various paint supplies, often on short notice, and these guys have always come through for me in a pinch. Adora is especially helpful. She is always on top of things and has been a huge help over the years. Can’t sing her praises enough. In general an overall great store staffed by thoughtful workers.
Dee was amazing helping me match a difficult wallpaper color. She was patient and helpful and I walked away with a number of samples to take home. The store is well organized bright and clean. Def recommend.
Love this place! I’m very blessed to live in Chelsea, Ny. We have options. But… with stores like Janovic, I don’t feel the need to go to places like Home Depot no hate. Went in this week for some painting supplies. I was a little confused about what I needed. Dee who I just met recently, was awesome. She listens, she’s smart and she gets right to the point. That’s all I need. Janovic has a “mom/ pop store”, feeling which I love, people have good advice without being pushy. Love it. Any home fix-ups or even cleaning products… just go here. Here is a photo of my doors that I got done though Janovic. I did them myself, but the instruction and advice was amazing.
I had been wracking my brain for weeks wanting to paint the same color I used 2 apartments ago. I brought some leftover paint in gelato containers no name and Dee sorted my problem and had the exact color and paint within 2 minutes. She’s a professional and awesome to chat with!
We worked with Ingrid and she was terrific! Smart, knowledgeable, patient and just plain old nice! Made our trip to the store to obtain paint samples really simple and easy! You are lucky to have such a great employee representing your company! We will be back again. Many thanks to Ingrid!
Dee from the Chelsea location was great . She was extremely friendly and attentive. She really explained what supplies that I would need and assisted with picking a great shade. I will becoming back and referring all my friends and family. Dee’s attention to detail is the reason why I had a wonderful experience. 5 stars
Dee was awesome. A lot of times these kinds of transactions can feel very boring- Dee was kind, helpful, easy, and quick. I appreciated their help. I was in and out of the store very fast. 10/10!!!
The staff and manager here Kevin are excellent. They’re helpful, courteous, and knowledgeable, and the customer service is top-notch. As a contractor and a customer of Janovic Paints for 15+ years, I can say with out reservation - this store is one of the best!
The staff know me by name and treat me amazingly. If they don't have an item im looking for, they will place the order for me, and I will have it within a day. I always feel welcomed, and the staff is always friendly—my favorite paint store in all of NY.
Miss Ingrid was amazing! She helped me tremendously when choosing a paint color. I highly recommend seeing her next time you are in the store :
