The main purpose of this Department shall be to provide fire protection and emergency services to the voters of the Bennington Fire District No. 1. It shall perform any other duties as called upon or appointed to by the tax payers or as it is obligated under Vermont laws and statutes.
The Department consists of 4 Companies and 3 stations. The stations are Willow Road (Main Fire House), Beech Street and West End.
To provide professional fire protection and awareness to the citizens and taxpayers of Bennington Fire District No. 1.
