ISU's campus pantry with two locations: Room 120 of the Pond Student Union (Pocatello) and Room 218 of the Bennion Student Union (Idaho Falls).
Students, staff and faculty of ISU can utilize Benny's Pantry for emergency food assistance up to two times per month. Participants are required to sign a liability waiver, provide an active Bengal card, and declare their household size. "Household" is defined as self, spouse/domestic partner and/or dependent children. Roommates do not count towards household numbers. Pantry staff will provide participants a shopping guide based on household size.
Benny's Pantry is an initiative of the LEAD Center within the division of Student Affairs, and is staffed by a Student Manager and student volunteers. Volunteers must be active ISU students, must complete a brief training session, and must sign a confidentiality waiver. Training sessions are held regularly.
Donations of non-perishable food items are accepted at Benny's Pantry, the LEAD Center, or the Campus Connection desk. Monetary donations can be made through the ISU Foundation (www.isu.edu/foundation).
