Ben Brendle first started Ben's (Ben's Brendle Grocery's) in 1946. Then he wanted it where he can service to people and run the Gas Station so he moved it across the street to where it is now in 1947. It has been open for going on 68 years.
Mike's General Store (Better known as Ben's) is still keeping that good ole' same tradition that we all know about. That is the Bologna and cheese sandwiches that he used to fix every day.
We serve almost everything that you can possible think of from serving Hotdogs, sandwiches, to even pumping gas (especially to the same customers that Ben used to pump gas for).
