Benton Street Bakery Cafe

Totally loved this charming and quaint bakery/cafe. They serve a breakfast sandwich called appropriately " the Benton," which was divine! See will definitely be returning!!

Great place to have food, drinks, and treats! To relax in lounge, and even get some time in reading. Friendly staff, and for my first visit. I felt at home. Soup of the day

Breakfast was excellent as weres the apple fritter abd cinnamon roll we took to go!

Love the Maple Bacon donuts and the Irish Soda Bread is amazing. The lemon blueberry scone was so delicious!

This place is awesome! Super cozy and clean and thoughtfully decorated. Every item on the menu, that I have tried, has been excellent. The food is just really, really, delicious. And the coffee is outstanding, as well. Oh and the sweet treats like the donuts, and pastries are so yummy!

My wife just had a chicken salad sandwich which she thought was out of this world. My son and I each just had a half order of biscuits and gravy which were excellent. He also had a Turkey Club which he thought was outstanding. I also had a Norman breakfast sandwich and side of potatoes which was also fantastic. Service is Great.

This is a quaint, warm, and delightful little place for lunch and breakfast. I enjoyed EVERYTHING! The sandwich came with potatoes, all the bakery treats were fresh and packaged in recycled containers. The lobster bisque was delightful served with fresh backed sliced bread. Service was quick by a sweet young lady who made me feel welcome to be there. The decor was like being in a warm bread & breakfast. I WILL BE BACK!

Our families favorite little coffee and breakfast shop. Excellent service, owner is wonderful, we have had the biscuits and gravy many times along with the steel cut oatmeal and my favorite breakfast sandwich " the Norman". Tasty pastries and just an overall cozy environment.

Benton Street Bakery is one of the sweetest establishments that I have ever visited in Crete Illinois! Everything is homemade everything is authentic and true to the spirit of downtown Crete! Their food is absolutely amazing, and their prices are reasonable. The atmosphere there is wonderful warm and friendly. If you haven't had a chance to check them out yet stop in for some phenomenal homemade donuts you will not be disappointed!
