Interesting old old shop. You can find anything and everything, but some of the items have been there so long the labels are faded. Now, that's not a bad thing if you're looking for the hard to find old item. One thing I noticed that makes this very different from other similar stores is that they have an unbelievable selection of knives. Mostly pocket knives. From basic stuff to ones with ornate beautiful handles. Not a bad gift idea! Definitely worth checking out. Workers seemed helpful although I found it a little disturbing that one guy let out a huge belch and say "yeah, that was a good one." Lol
So glad we're getting an ACE Hardware instead of dealing with this nonsense. Service is snail pace slow, the people are dim-witted, and they've messed up multiple times. A lot of the inventory doesn't look like it's been rotated out for a very long time, and I've had a few keys made here, and the idiot who cut them didn't do it right. For some reason, you can't just actually find the parts you're looking for, instead you have to wait on some slow old lady, an old man who looks like he should have retired in the 50s, or this shaven haired guy who should really audition for the part of Lenny in Of Mice and Men. Expect to spend 20 minutes looking for one small bolt that you already know where it is. On top of all of this, You can't even use a debit / credit card without accruing a $5.00 charge. If you can't afford a point-of-sale system in this age, maybe you should reconsider being in business. Terrible.
this hardware store has more nuts, bolts, screws and pocket knives than any other store around. It may be an older store but they are friendly, good people and their prices are excellent. They are extremely helpful.
This place is over priced. Does really explain the return policy like she should. I noticed how she treats her own race and how she treats "minority." Never again.
I grew up over there.it's very a convenient place to have nearby. I know the Kerr' s very well and they're good people if they still on it they're still good people though if they don't on it
