Berg Accounting Services has been in business since 2010, serving the northwest suburbs of Minneapolis. We opened out office in Robbinsdale in March of 2015 and we are happy to be working in this new location with a hometown feel. Owner, Joy Padilla-Berg grew up in Robbinsdale and is happy to be back, after studying accounting in Phoenix, AZ at Southwestern College and then at Bethel University in St. Paul. Joy went on to work with a non-profit organization for five years preparing individual and self-employed tax returns for low-income individuals and families. Joy also worked as an Individual Tax Specialist, auditing tax returns at the Minnesota Department of Revenue. Joy decided to start her own Tax Preparation Service in 2010 because she was tired of hearing about the huge fees big franchise companies were charging taxpayers to file their taxes.
