#bergenPAC is a 501c3 nonprofit that attracts world class entertainment. Join us for jazz, ballet, comedy, rock n' roll, kids shows & more!
The Bergen Performing Arts Center first opened in October 2004, reviving the historic space previously known as the John Harms Center—Bergen County’s principal cultural and arts institute for over 30 years. With a 1367-seat theater, 90-seat Cabaret, art gallery, two dance studios and a fiber optic link to the renowned Bennett Studios, bergenPAC is Northern New Jersey’s premier nonprofit venue for performing arts and education.
Most importantly, bergenPAC has become a leader in bringing world class performances to its community—from Tony Bennett to Itzhak Perlman, Aretha Franklin to Alice Cooper, Alvin Ailey to the Israeli Philharmonic Orchestra.
Did you know that bergenPAC is also home to:
An emerging Artist-in-Residence Program that provides public schools with free in-house workshops.
beyond dance @ bergenPAC, an electrifying dance program that offers classes in creative movement, pre-ballet, classical ballet, jazz, theatre dance, tap, contemporary, ethnic fusion, hip-hop, urban street, zumba and yoga.
Kidz Cabaret, a series of hip performances intended to engage and spark the imaginations of young theater buffs.
5 Grammys, 2 A&E televised events, 4HBO Specials and 5 major label DVD recordings.
bergenPAC’s mission is to make the live performing arts accessible to the entire population – building a creative home that guides and liberates the imagination of our young, inspires and expands the lives of our adults, and attracts established and emerging artists of excellence and relevance.
