Berkeley Diner & Restaurant

Great location with kind service, but was bit slower than most in Paris. Family loved the lamb and Pavlova, but my Octopus wasn't cooked properly very difficult to chew/rubbery and I eat octopus often. Very attractive restaurant, I would dress up for a visit here and enjoy your leisurely meal.

We walked in on a beautiful Saturday afternoon around 2pm and were seated right away. The restaurant is located across from a park, great serene location. We sat outside and ordered right away. The food was fresh and very tasty! The service was friendly, though they were understaffed. Mohammed Khan, our waiter was great! Highly recommend this place in between luxury shopping in Champs Elysees.

Sensational food and location, loved the hummus pita entree, mushroom ravioli and fish and kids loved the fish & chips. Staff were very polite and courteous.

Visited in mid-December 2022 for lunch. The outside temperature was freezing, so we reviewed the outdoor menu and decided to give it a try. We were seated right away at a table next to a small portable heater and provided with menus. The restaurant was mostly vacant except for four tables. After examining the menu in detail for about 30 minutes, I was looking forward to trying the lamb, but the staff never stopped by to greet us or take our order. A simple glass of water would have been nice. I tried to wave down a gentleman who was attending to other tables. He just glanced at me for a moment and then walked off. After 15 more minutes, we decided to leave. It took a few minutes for us to put on our coats and gloves. The staff saw us preparing to leave, but did not stop by to ask why we left or apologize for potentially being short staffed. I understand that many nicer restaurants in Paris may have slower service so that the patrons may enjoy conversing with their friends or families, but completely ignoring customers is not a good way to make a good first impression. I really wanted to document an enjoyable visit with memorably delicious food and drink, but that did not happen during our visit.

Delicious wine, escargot, dinner, and dessert. 5/5 recommend, they have normal menus and menus in English! We went to try the snails and they did not disappoint!

Had late lunch on patio. The service was great. The two waiters were excellent in interpreting the menu selections. The food was presented and prepared well. Appetizer and lunch plates were good. My burger was cook a perfect medium. I would dine here again.
