Would Give negative stars if possible. It never fails that an Amazon order can travel half way around the world on time then get to Goldsboro NC and get delayed! And to top it off there is no weekend pick up available so that the customer can have an option to retrieve their own package on time! The entire Goldsboro USPS needs an upper management OVERHAUL! 4 times in the past 2 years they have delayed my shipments and it is beyond getting old!
Had a package I ordered from ebay returned to sender... the address was wrong? Weird cause FedEx and UPS have no problem with the address. No wonder this place has the worst ratings I've ever seen. HIGHLY do not recommend using this place or ordering anything if it comes through USPS. The USPS should've been shut down
A person for this one who attends to customers mmmm. no good 30 minutes waiting
The people that work here are AMAZING. Very kind and cool people. My favorite usps location to go too. The young lady with the glasses and the middle aged gentleman are great people. And are the primary people who I interact with when coming there. Very great location.
I never like going to this post office even if I’m in Goldsboro. I always find them rude. I had a package returned to me return to sender Now I will admit that the address was missing a few numbers but I didn’t notice it at first. So me thinking that it was right, I went to the post office and asked them if they could fix it. If it was possible. The payment to send it was $16.25 so I didn’t want it to go to waste. So when I asked the person I can’t remember if they were a woman or a man if they could help me so the $16.25 wasn’t going to waste, they redirected me to a woman. I think her name was Teresa? I asked her nicely about it but she seemed ticked off. When I asked her what will happen to the $16.25 I spent to send it she raised her voice at me and said “WE DID OUR JOB, THE ADDRESS IS WRONG!” It startled me. I tried to lower my voice because I hate being the center of attention and I could see other people waiting in line looking my way. I don’t know how the postal service works entirely but I was wanting a clear answer. So I asked her again about the money I spent to send it and she still yells at me saying the exact same thing. I hate confrontation so I nearly started to tear up, whatever irritated her before I came, there was no need to take it out on me. This is why I prefer another post office near where I live.
Absolutely loved the fact I had to pay $4 for one single piece of tape even though she had the tape gun sitting right there. Ridiculous. I bought a roll and left it there because I don't have a use for it and hopefully it will prevent your customers from becoming upset when they realize they too have to pay $4 for a single piece of tape. It was my birthday gift to YOUR customers. Ridiculous.
Slowest USPS I’ve ever been to. The workers are in no rush to help people, and don’t care about making people wait. They refuse to open up another line to help customers and reduce the congestion in the lobby/ waiting area. It took 40 min to send out 2 packages today
They haven’t been delivering my mail and yesterday they sat outside my home for several minutes before they left and marked my packages available for pickup despite the fact that I was home all day with a clear, pet free yard and driveway. I scheduled redelivery for the following day and it is not back out for delivery.
The Cashwell Post Office in Goldsboro isn't bad at all. I've been going there for four years now & the employees have always been friendly, helpful, & very courteous. It is true about the lack of phone assistance, and yes... the mail delivery at our house is often bungled by getting mail that doesn't belong to us meaning, we've most likely had our mail arrive elsewhere. But my review is based on the really good customer service I receive everytime I go to the post office to ship things. If the line gets long, someone will come from the back and work the counters to move the line quicker. I've noticed this post office location seems to be really mindful of our wait time in line, which is important to me.
This is for cashwell/berkely PO in Goldsboro Very kind people. My pakages almost always get delivered on time and in good condition. The old driver on my route was really awesome but retired I think. New driver seems to be working quite well too I can't remember the last time I had an actual late package. Never had any missing mail or packages either. Whenever we bring in packages to send out of state to family they're always helpful with the process. We never had any problems. They deserve so much respect for the amount of work they've been put through this whole year. But boy do they deserve better pay. Much love to them and I hope they continue to improve further.
