Home Care, is health care / supportive care provided in the patient's home by healthcare professionals (also known as skilled care). Sara my PT & James my OT were respectful, professional, friendly, all wrapped up in caring & concern to help maximize my rehab. It was the best possible care I could hope for. Sara & I discussed managing my pain levels & improving home safety in a way that was easily understood. There were no problems with my health care. I would recommend Berkley Home Health to family & friends. I would nominate both Sara & James for employees of the month. My only recommendation is that patients be included in the recovery plan, re: what should we eventually be able to do & in how many visits?
When I think about referring my family and friends for excellent and compassionate care, I choose a care agency. Their administrative staff is friendly, efficient and conscientious. They respond to your needs immediately without hesitation. Their guardians are well trained, educated and compassionate. Carers. You can definitely trust this agency with your loved ones.
My mom had to receive care at home after a 2 week stay at the hospital. We had the pleasure of having 4 professionals come to our home. Scott PT, Tanya RN, Nora OT and Ashley ST. They gave my mother the best care and therapy. I am so happy with her recovery and want to thank all 4 of them for everything they did. They worked around her dialysis schedule and the holiday to accommodate her. I would recommend Berkley Home Health Care to everyone!
I am so impressed with the caring quality of the home health care that I received after my cervical and upper spine surgery. Amanda S., the physical therapist from Berkley Home Health, was so caring and so amazing! She was very knowledgeable and knew what she was doing to help me be safe in my home and with the exercises that she taught me to do. I would highly recommend Berkley Home Health Care!
My wife has used different home health care agencies over the past two years. From our experience, there is no other agency that comes even close the care provided by Berkley’s professional staff. Specifically, Berkley’s RN Jana and their Occupational Therapist are excellent and the best we’ve ever worked with in their areas of specialty. However, the very best over-the-top care came from Jennifer, their Physical therapist. She truly exudes enthusiasm, knowledge, and compassion. Because of her, my wife has steadily progressed and is stronger each week. Previously, we’ve used U. of Colorado Physical Therapy department for about 6-months. Unfortunately, they pale by comparison. Jennifer provides clear instructional aids and pictorials that she specially prepared for each patient. Other PTs’ might provide a sheet or two during one’ first visit . . . then became lazy and never saw the instructional sheets again. NOTE: Each member of Berkley’s staff has separately commented to my wife and I that the agency owner truly cares about their patient’s s as well as that of his professional staff. Something rare in most organizations management style.
My mother was discharged from the hospital and had to receive Occupational therapy and Physical Therapy. I have to say we were a little concerned because of past people that have worked with her not getting the results we were hoping for but with Colin and Neil they were outstanding. They are very patient very knowledgeable and managed to influence my mother to keep doing the exercises even when they weren't there and that's a huge task because she's very stubborn. I highly recommend Collin and Neil to anyone in need of OT and PT.
Amanda, one of Berkley's Physical Therapists is amazing. Just got a complete knee replacment and was recommended Berkley by the hospital. Amanda was quite knowledgeable and motivated me well through the in home period. She helped me progress much faster than I expected. She is a great asset to the company for sure.
I had surgery on my leg at the UChealth hospital, and needed in home physical therapy. I chose Berkley Home Health based on reviews, and was not disappointed. 48 hours after the referral was sent over, I had an appointment. Leslie came to my temporary hotel room to work on my leg and was very professional, knowledgeable, and kind! She also took many precautions to protect us both during the pandemic. I would definitely reccomend this agency for physical therapy and really enjoyed working with Leslie.
There is a different vibe with this team. They truly collaborate with each other so there is no disconnect. That is not all that common in the medical world. Colin OT has provided wonderful advice and training which has helped both me and my husband. Keith and Amy were extremely organized and knew just how to handle my husband. Mike is very patient and understanding with the PT. I could go on and on.
Sarah and her team have been a delight to work with. I appreciate their communication and care coordination for our clients. I have heard time and time again from the families we both support that their professionalism, quality of care and communication is unmatched.
