All bakery sweets are old a inedible. You can pick up the hard frosting with your hands and nothing will fall apart. Cheesecake hollow inside. Terrible birthday cake for my poor mother.
I no longer buy storebought bread I go there and buy all my breads they're donuts are great they're cupcakes and pastries are wonderful their prices are reasonable I can't say anymore
Terrible service. I asked the girl what flavor a certain pastry was she didn't know then proceeded to go in the back room to find someone after placing my order on the counter and left me standing there for 5 minutes. Didn't say thank you very rude. Food was mediocre at best. Wouldn't go back.
I’ve seen Bernardino’s bread in grocery stores - meh, mush bread I call it, too soft, wrapped in plastic, which ruins bread. BUT.. buy it fresh at the bakery, and I think it’s the best bread outside of Boston or New York. I’ll be making regular trips here from CT. Just ask them to put it in a PAPER bag to maintain that beautiful crusty exterior that is the hallmark of a good Italian bread or baguette.
I’ve been going here for years. I’ve never had a bad experience. Everyone is really friendly when you stop in. Best local bakery I've found in western ma. The custard cup and the Portuguese cornbread are my favorites.
Fantastic baked goods....if your from Europe and craving a real croissant you have found it !! Breads are so tasty, no preservatives and don't taste like "cake"...if your in the mood for cake, well they have beautiful varieties of "napoleon's" and custard tarts, and many pastries not found easily at the supermarket "bakeries".Staff are helpful and friendly. Make sure to get there early on weekends so as not to be disappointed for that special treat you crave....

If you haven't tried their Homestyle Bread, do yourself a favor and pick up a loaf. It has become a MUST HAVE in my kitchen all the time. It is perfect for just about everything, a fantastic Grilled Cheese, peanut butter and jelly, eggs on toast, or just some bread and butter. I have yet to find a more versatile, tasty bread. Also, I have to say, in terms of customer service this company knows what it is doing, I reached out to them trying to locate other places that sold their product and they went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure I was satisfied. I already loved their product, but now I will be a customer for life.
Loved the bread. The owner was rude to me! For no reason. She was not at all pleasant and I won’t be back. Too bad good bread
Goodevening, I've been going to Bernadinos for 16 yrs, I buy the Glazed Donuts early in the morning and the bread, I've always said that bernadinos is the best, I tell people to go and buy their bread and donuts from Bernadinos and people have given me a thumbs up, but lately for the last 3 months when I go in the early morning the donuts are not soft and fresh, the Glazed Donuts are not the same, they are hard, I don't know what is going on but the rest of my family have said the same and some of my friends have noticed it as well. I realize that my experience and opinion probably won't mean anything to you out of all your customers but jyst know that I am dissappointed with the product. I mean no disrespect I'm simply stating how the product has been lately, I think I'm gonna find a new bakery to purchase my goods . every week has been the same for the past few months.
