SEPT2022: 4: I would recommend this restaurant and this location. I was traveling with my family from a sightseeing trip and my spouse saw Bertuccis and we decided to stop, sit down, and have dinner. We were offered a seat in the bar area at one of the high booths. I noticed that there were at least two large groups in the restaurant during our visit. I noticed that the seats were kind of dusty and kind of dirty at the back of them. As we entered the building, my spouse went to the restroom. I wiped the seats down so she would have a clean seat when she came back. The hostess sat my family down in this area, but there were only place settings for two. There was some bread along with some olive oil with herbs on the table. Still, not enough place settings yet. The server noticed the water on the table and cleaned it just before our entrees arrived after serving our drinks. This error went unchecked by the server until we asked for an additional set of silverware and napkins. We received the two pizzas but not the third entree until 5 or 6 minutes later. The third entree came out hot and ready to eat. Each of our dishes tasted great and well prepared. The meal selections were 5 for us. I believe the kitchen was on point for our visit. The team movement of entrees to the tables works for your team. When the servers came out to drop off the first two items, they were all friendly and seemed competent. I did add extra crushed red pepper and Parmesan cheese to my dish, I like the spicy and cheesey combination... LoL Our server was not as attentive as he could have been during this meal. It appeared he had several other duties as well as serving our table. We waited for water. We waited for the to-go boxes. We waited for the check. Every time I observed our server, he had a handful of dishes on his hands, so he was working harder for the restaurant, not really us. It seemed our server was being tasked with several other needs as well as ours. I believe the server could have been better if dedicated to the table alone. I admired his hustle and dedication to the restaurant. I thought a 22% tip was earned. My spouse commented that the restroom was not tidy when she was inside using the area. I noted the same thing in the men's room, that there was debris on the floor, the urinals were filled with a lot of prior urine samples, not flushed when I arrived to use it. The area apparently wasn't checked regularly to ensure it was maintained and it smelled. I believe this is a few small adjustments from a 5 rating just to keep a business more functional, the customers returning, and just as profitable with happy personnel. Wheelchair accessibility: There was handicap available parking in the lot and a ramp at the front of the building.
Online ordering is easy as a pizza pie. Fresh, hot, .Always ready when I get there. I ate most of my pizza before I remembered to take a picture. Please remember to tip.
Our server was friendly and very quick to get our order to us. The atmosphere was quiet and calming, super romantic for our date! Plus, the meatball pizza was so delicious!! We'll be full for days! Thank you!
The bread was cold and hard. The mozzarella frittatas were not hot, not cold either but, were ok. Our lasagna... i guess we were expecting more. It wasn't even hot. You know how you go to other places and the food is actually hot, even the plate?!. Not here. We order a kids pizza for my son and well, it was ok he said Domino's is better and i don't blame him. I'm sorry, we really wanted to like this place. But even the service was just ok. Bad day maybe?! At least the wine was good
Saturday Oct. 22nd 2022. I and a group of friends made a 4pm reservation at Peabody Bertuccis. SERVICE WAS SLOW & UNINVITING! Sat 10-15 minutes before seeing waitress to order 1st Drinks. 15-20 minutes later Drinks arrive. Waitress disappears. ONLY ONE WAITRESS to handle my group of 16 people. Please note, most tables were empty, so one would think service would have been better. With that said 20 minutes after just a few drinks were delivered, waitress returns to take orders. I was one of the First 3 orders taken. Keep in mind we arrived at 4pm With Reservations . Our orders arrived at the table at 5:15. Oh, EXCEPT THE FIRST THREE ORDERS! Now the waitress finally realizes that three people are not eating . "Oh I'm sorry she said, your orders will just be a couple minutes! 18 minutes later, they finally arrive. You would think she would have apologized and admitted she lost our orders rather than say, "your orders will just be a couple minutes". Now that my order arrived, chicken Picata, the chicken was over cooked , had the consistency of cardboard. The chef most likely doesn't know how to cook, or microwaved the chicken. It was "smothered" with capers. The dish was terrible ! Aside from the dinner fiasco the waitress returns and asks if we would like drinks. Of course I was one of 5 drinks a beer that she yet again did not bring. Another oversite! When she realized 10 minutes later that she didn't bring my drink, she said that the bartender was tapping a new keg and " It would be just a couple of minutes". Lol. At this point , I said just to forget about it. I would like to point out that the waitress NEVER asked at the beginning if anyone wanted appetizers, never Offered and additional comment about each order weather it came with any choices of a side, if so what choice was preferred etc.., Never returned to ask if everyone's dinner was OK after served as most waitresses do, Never returned after the meal to ask if anyone wanted desert, coffee or another beverage etc., Never returned to ask if we were all set and bring our bill for the dinner. She had to be chased down and be asked for it so that we could be on our way. All in all Bertuccis was severely unprepared to serve a group of people with a reservation. I can't imagine that we would have had such great service if it was busy at the time we arrived. I'm being sarcastic here, I hope you realize Also the waitress was the ONLY person assigned to our table. As our table backed up with empty drink glasses and bottles, the clutter was never removed thru out the duration of out time sitting, there was no bus boy, no extra hands delivering the first 13 of 16 meals,. I honestly can't understand how this Particular Bertuccis is remaining in business. It clearly does not cater to or appreciate its customers and definitely does not how to properly prepare and cook its food being served. I would not recommend this restaurant even if it was the last and only restaurant on Rt1. Do yourself, your family and friends a good deed and go somewhere else, even if its MacDonalds! I took a picture of my meal that I waited for one and a half hours after arrival. Please take a look. LoL
Just left beetuccis with a “Verde” pizza and got home and they didn’t put cheese on half of my pizza, there’s no arugula or balsamic drizzle. I was charged $17 for a pizza that didn’t even come how it was supposed to!
Husband and I ordered lunch specials that included salad with his sandwich, soup for me. He got his salad, I did not. He was done when I tracked down the waitress in the bar for my salad just as he got his sandwich. Soup arrived before he was done but had to sit there while I finished. Granted she was very busy but timing was way off common sense. Of course, if a customer orders the all-you-can eat soup and salad combo and you don't serve them, what a savings! only had 1 salad. 2 soups
I ordered a Meat lover's pizza and a vege pizza. The vege pizza was fine with vegetables well distributed but the meat one was 1/4 chicken, a 1/4 ham, 1/4 sausage, and 1/4 something else my son ate the other 1/4. I would have liked to have an all meat pizza like I have gotten instead of 1/4's of one topping each and for $50+ for both pizza's... I wasn't happy at all! Probably won't go there again!
A great place for pizza, the best in the area. They're open late and their prices are reasonable for the quality and amount you get. The service is not the best, but they are accurate and fast. Vegetarian options: There's plenty to choose from if you're vegetarian. Parking: They have a large parking lot, you shouldn't have any problems finding a spot.
I've hadn't been in a long time and thought it might be worth a try. But, not even the BOGO or them giving me larges in stead of the smalls I ordered made the pizza any better. I expected wood oven char on the edges but, they were under cooked and doughy in the middle. Basically, it's a higher priced Dominos with less flavor.
