An advisory council is a voluntary group of individuals who meet on a regular basis to support the effective functioning of their local park.
The Bessemer Park Advisory Council (BPAC) goal is to work in concert with our park supervisory staff and community members to enhance creative programing and increase participation to improve park facilities, equipment, and programs. Through the use of time, volunteers, as well as sponsor support we will also strive to increase our budget through fundraising, grants, and donations.
Respect will be given to Bessemer Parks strong historical and cultural past to be included in the restoration and beautification of our grounds and fieldhouse. Re-establishing a safe and secure family friendly environment for all ages is our prime objective along with native species preservation.
