It's a small park, but it's been renovated recently with nice playground equipment. There is a big field to run in, but the street the park is on is pretty busy. Parking is limited and the bathrooms are usually locked, but it's a fun park for short visits.
I'm not native to Bham, but I make frequent trips to UAB as an oncology patient. We stopped by this park after passing it by chance. There's no signs that I recall. We were hoping for a restroom, to stretch our legs & let our 7 year old daughter play for a minute. There's probably more to the park than just the small playground area we stopped at. There's no restroom anywhere near the playground. The playground is small but nice. It has the nice, new rubbery padding underneath which is great, especially for the younger kids. There seemed to be a lot of open field area if you or your littles like to run around. It'd be great for a game of flag football or something. Again, not restroom facilities, water fountains or anything like that near the playground area. Nice shade trees scattered about. There was nobody else there on the weekday around lunchtime, other than someone parked to eat it looked like. I think it'd be a good place to take younger kids or sit to get fresh air.
Nice clean kid friendly park. Can walk animals as well plenty of open field space. Close to the Hwyyet still quiet plenty of amenities and places to eat within 10 min.
One of the best parks to visit in the South of Al. Quit, Clean, Reserve, lots of parking space, fewer travelers, less traffic, less seating space for guest and dogs are welcpme; I am sure! I was able to finish my report quickly in a confortable spot! I love!
Needed a spot to eat lunch in my car. The park was fairly clean and looked like it would be pleasant to sit in and enjoy the beautiful fall weather -- maybe next year!
Decent park, can tell it's newish and maintained. There is a restroom nearby, but apparently it is private use only? Cause it's locked! So don't come here if potty training! Shade is around, but not over the playset. I'm not from Birmingham, so I didn't know anything about this park except that it's close to the freeway. I would probably not visit again, as it felt like this was a scetchy part of town... A homeless man on a bench, undercover cop in a car, no hoodies allowed in the gas station
Quiet park with a few interesting garden areas and pergola. It was a good place to relax while waiting so I didn't have to find parking near the university.
Loved this little park. Very clean and safe little hidden park.
Nice neighborhood park, but too few tables and no lights at night
If your looking for a park where its not too many people this park is to go. It's right across the street from a church. So go out and enjoy the park by yourself or with others...Have Fun!!
