Best buy sold US a broken TV today. We asked if we could plug the TV in to make sure it worked. Store employees told us they couldn't unwrap the TV to test it, but assured us it had been tested before. So we were scammed into paying for the delivery of a broken TV.
My wife wanted to give her laptop to her brother and get herself another one. So we talked to the Geek Squad and decided to purchase their $179 coverage. What a great bargain for great service! My wife and I are older and do not know much about the best choice for a modern laptop. We were helped by Alfred. Alfred took the time to figure out what was best for our needs. He was really a very genuine and caring person. We took home a laptop and some accessories that we are very happy about. We believe he guided us to the very best results and are grateful that we met Alfred
I ordered an open box laptop with an advertised condition of "Excellent", what I received was a laptop with a missing key on its keyboard. I contacted best buy customer service immediately and was told to bring it into any best buy store, with no appointment required, to have the key replaced. When I arrived at the store I was told I would have to make an appointment to drop the laptop off and, they aren't able to give me a replacement key today. Now I have to take more time out of work to bring it back again as I need this laptop asap. Buyer beware of purchasing open box "Excellent" condition items.
I love living between two of these places. I was able to get all the parts for a whole new high end PC in one day, and got price matched easily online when a price dropped later that week. Easy online order and in person pickup
I just had a great experience at Best Buy who is a blue shirt name Alfredo he provided excellent customer service and was candid while completely understanding of my situation with AirPods in the case that would not come off both him and the geek squad Tech were really awesome in providing excellent customer service and understanding my situation highly would recommend dispatched by as my previous experiences were not exemplary but this one seems to really care about its customers. Whoever hired Alfredo should give themselves a pat on the back they hired a really great customer service agent
I went to get my car radio replaced with an updated one. I was really happy with the one I picked out, and they do free installation which is great! The only catch is that the installation can only be done at very few locations this one in Lynnwood does it and their appointment schedule is limited and very booked up. I ended up having to book an appointment like 4 weeks after I bought the radio! I even got an email right before my appointment that everything I ordered was about to be refunded because I hadn't picked it up yet. The timeline is my only complaint. Also, the appointment could take up to 2 and a half hours and there is no waiting room, just a couch in the store, which could obviously be better. Overall though, the process was professional and I'm really happy with the installation.
My son & I went to BestBuy to purchase computers. Service was upbeat and we each found we likedso we made our purchase and I included the extended warranty thinking it save future problems. A few days later my son was helping me move out of my apartment. The third day our helper added Mike's new computer's box to his load on the dolly we bought to facilitate the move. Mike said to me not to put his white box in the Uhual as he would put it in his car's trunk later. The same day Mike got the flu and lay down. Our friend didn't know what Mike said since he was sleeping, but I saw ĥim and gave ĥim the message. I saw it come off the dolly and went back to packing. Later we learned he had used it as a doorstopsohe could get back in. He had to go help afriend for about 30 min. Mike woke up looking for his computer and we all figured out that it was stolen A neighbor saw a woman walking off with it. Ŵe all looked even the neighbors but finally we gave up. I kept hoping the extra insurance would prompt Best Buy to replace it but when they didn't offer I asked and they were very firm about it. So we can't blame anyone except the woman that was seen with it. I'm sorry to ɓe so wordy. I just wanted it clear the store wasn't at fault but also to warn shoppers of the extra warranteel is very limited. But I would still shop there if the is right. Thanks, April
Went in to buy Bose sunglasses and they were out. I asked if they were getting more and they had no idea. Then I asked fro someone to help me with Bose speakers from the door person and no one ever showed up. Waited about 20 minutes before I just left. This store was great once, I dont know what happened.
DONT TRUST THIS STORE! They sold me a Roku streambar for a new OLED TV. I checked with them to make sure it was compatible and they assured me it was. It slowly started glitching more and more of course after the two week period to exchange it. The manager could care less.
I've shopped here periodically for years. Even before Circuit City was taken down. There's always a friendly smile when you walk through the door, and they've helped with many of my questions about things and I've never run into an unfriendly employee. It's always nice and tidy, and I've only 1 time had to wait in a line, though I don't typically go when it may be busy. Definitely a nice place all around!
