5 STARS FOR CALVIN: Best Buy is what it is, but my wife and I had the pleasure of working with Calvin, a younger store associate. In the end we purchased 2 Omen pre-built PCs and everything we needed to get setup. Calvin was personable, friendly, and incredibly helpful. He walked us around the store to make sure we had everything we needed and that all of our concerns were met. I run a small business myself and hear the horror stories of bad customer service in Retail. While I understand some employees just want to do their job; employees like Calvin are what keep people returning back to stores, and what give us the pleasant experiences we hope for as consumers. Hopefully word gets back to Calvin about how much we appreciated his time. I will 100% shop at this location in the future and ask for Calvin. Thank you!
No complaints. The store was very clean and the staff I spoke to briefly were all nice. It was easy to find what I was looking for. Though the way things were labeled once I found the section took me some time, though I think that's just the way one-month-plan sim cards tend to be. In the event I ever need a short temp phone number again I'd come back since I know what they have and that it works with my old Pixel 3a.
I have to give this Best Buy a five-star because of Rick. This gentleman was so knowledgeable and helpful with me trying to decide on a camera. He took time to show me the different models describe the differences and answer all my questions . He is an asset to the store! If you have any camera questions go see Rick he's got the answers
Last week, some water spilled on my laptop. Not a ton, but enough to be soaking into the keyboard. I decided to try and take the laptop apart myself to dry it out, but was having an issue finding where the screws were in the back. It turns out two of them were hidden under a strip on the back that needed to be removed. I went in to Best Buy to ask how to remove the back, and the first guy I talked to told me that the back of the laptop "could not be removed, or the whole keyboard would fall out." The next guy I talked to also told me it couldn't be removed.. but that I should just give them my laptop, let them back it up, and then buy a new one. They told me that if I even tried to turn my laptop on it would very likely destroy it, so that it'd be better if I just bought a new one without attempting to salvage mine at all. Anyhow, I went home, searched a video on how to remove the back of my laptop, removed it, took the pieces apart, and let it air dry by a fan for a few hours. My laptop is working great. I am disappointed that Best Buy tried to sell me a whole new laptop and a service that was unnecessary, and that they were dishonest with me about my laptop being able to be taken apart.
Upon arrival they have a rope that lets customers in a little at a time. The store was clean and neat. But bare! They were sold out of all the “popular” items. Bummer a lot of empty shelves. A lot of signs saying to go online to place your order. I feel like retailers in general under stocked for inventory. So many retailers out of products. Waste of a trip. I feel like now a days you are better off shopping online. But I like visiting a store now and then to see things in person.
Absolutely inept on all fronts. Simple shopping experiences are turned into nightmarish wild goose chases. Despite BB sharing a color scheme with IKEA, Best Buy employees—beaten, tired, petrified into numbness as they are—are the polar opposite of IKEA employees. If you are looking for an item in-store, expect to be pawned off from employee to employee only to ultimately be told, "It's....somewhere over there." while they gesture nonspecifically toward a quadrant of the store. This business is so committed to refusing to help customers that they simply will not answer the phone. You cannot by any means available to you, speak to a Best Buy employee on the telephone. As the only store of its kind still able to receive customers in this area, I find it shameful that this establishment has the cowardice necessary to abdicate its once-good reputation and resign itself to withering in apathy.
I have nothing but great things to say about this particular Best Buy. For starters every single employee I interacted with was very helpful and friendly. I also couldn't believe that the store had all 6 different items from multiple departments, all in stock on a Sunday during the black friday sales. This is so rare to find nowadays as most stores inventories are depressing at best. Thank you for allowing me to complete my whole list in one stop. Pictured is my new 65 inch 4k TV that I am loving!
Still chaotic despite the wide inventory and range of services. Displays mislabeled and jumbled, long wait times for assistance and distractible staff. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable, but spread thin at times.
It's a Best Buy like every other Best Buy. Easy enough to get there and they has what I needed in stock so I could just grab it and go. Checkout people were friendly and staff I talked to were helpful in finding batteries I was looking for! Overall good experience and I got to do some snow mall crawling out in the parking lot!
Someone give Calvin a raise or a cake ceremony because I could walk into that place not wanting anything and he could sell me everything he is so good at marketing. He is also a very nice guy!
