They out of the product I came to get, said had two in stock, which was wrong. Second time in a couple months there in store inventory was wrong. Get home, no picture on monitor and a crack on the inside of the screen. Will change rating after I swap out, hoping no hassle. The guy who helped me was extremely nice, and apologized for the inventory mess up.
Had a terrible experience at this Best Buy. Went in to purchase over $300 worth a security cameras and accessories. One of the accessories was the Stick Up Cam Solar Panel by ring. I was happy to see it was on sale as indicated by both the display price tag and the price tag on the stock itself in the below glass. When I went to check out it rang up to full price of $59.99 versus the advertised price of $47.99. The customer service representative was friendly and walked over and visually verified that not one but two price tags did indeed show $47.99. He then said he would simply need manager approval. The manager Destiny came over and she too walked over to verify the price tags they themselves had out on the floor. She then proceeded to tell me that was for a different model and that this is a "newer" model so the price tags they themselves put out are null and void. I asked if she could at least match the whopping difference of $12 to which she condescendingly declined and rudely refused. Based on how I was treated by this employee in this store I decided to not purchase anything and rather take my business elsewhere. Do better Best Buy, Destiny is clearly not cut out for management. She lacked customer service skills and was rude. 3/12 UPDATE: After calling into the corporate office to file a complaint regarding the rude behavior of Destiny, I was told a store GM / Manager at this location would call me to discuss. I was actually told specifically the GM had 24 hours to respond to me per their policy. It has been over a week now and still have not heard anything. Way to yet again drop the ball! Pathetic.
Large selection but the person I worked with on my return seemed inept at handling my return without prejudice, assumption and for me a bit of a profiling. Having an out of state license isn't a cause to begin to ask me to 'turn around my ID', to look me up and down after they misread my ID to begin with, and then to assume I opened something I hadn't and begin to inspect an unopened item like I would steal one item and try to return the package for a full refund says more about the type of 'typical' customers in your area than myself buying something/returning it the next day for one of my several houses in the country. BB needs sensitivity training - we all don't make $15 an hour and struggle; even if we're young.
Consistent best prices and superior customer service place this store in the top tier for electronics and so much more. It doesn’t seem to matter if I’m purchasing a refrigerator or an Apple product, the staff can expertly speak to the product features and benefits. We recently visited to purchase noise canceling Bose ear buds and the price was $20 lower than the “low sale” price at Sam’s Club and even lower than other places we checked. We noticed that the Apple Air pods were also $20 lower at Best Buy. Do yourself a favor if you are purchasing any electronic, appliance, high tech grill, or a coffee maker, check out Best Buy.
I have only visited once, a very busy Saturday morning. We found what we needed at a price that seemed to be the best, after some research, but finding an associate able to assist was difficult. The people working were doing their best but seemed not very happy, overworked and tired, so the service was not up to high standards. I guess regular business days and hours they will be doing better. The store itself was clean and well organized.
Good selections of computers, electronics, and appliances. Got a good deal compared to big online stores. Can improve on the length of return policy. Friendly staff.
Didn't make a purchase today, still have some inquiries to make. But Cody was wonderful with tips and advice while we shopped for laundry machines. Staff was also very helpful with us finding a TV stand since they were out of stock in-store
I returned a $20 cord with the receipt in hand on 9-28-23 that I had purchased on 9-8-23, only 20 days before. I was denied a refund and only given store credit because they changed their return policy to where it must be returned within 15 days unless you pay for a $50 membership. Best Buy isn’t what it used to be… go elsewhere!!
I visited this store on July 25, 2023, hoping to examine a particular personal computer. Before driving out to the store, I checked the website and found that the item was listed as "in stock." I waited 15 minutes in the personal computer department for store personnel. When none appeared, I went to the service desk and asked for help. The attendant said he would summon someone to meet me in the department. No one ever came. I finally found a staff member and asked about the computer I was interested in. I was told that the item was in stock "in the back" but not on display and that it was for purchase only. I asked for clarification from this person that he would not bring the item out for me to look at unless I was committed to purchasing it, and he confirmed that that was the case. Sorry, but I will not be back.
My four star rating is mostly due to the manager, Tom, who helped me rectify the issue had today. Prior to that it would be 1 star for the online and phone experience. I placed an online order for a portable Samsung SSD. It was placed late last night after hours. The website said it was in stock. I got a text and email confirmation. My bank account was debited the amount. This morning before I left to drive 90 minutes to the store, I check on the status and found that my order had been canceled. At the at time I had not found an email, so I called the local number for the store. After being referred to a call center, probably not in the United States, I found out that the item actually NOT in stock. I was also told that unfortunately the store no longer takes calls directly. That’s the most frustrating part. I really wanted to talk to a manager about the situation and verify if there could be a solution before driving to the store. So, I made the drive and walked in, asked for a manager. Tom came to the front, I explained everything to him. We looked to see if the alternate drive same unit, different color was in stock. He offered to sell it to me at the lower price, like the one I ordered originally. After some searching, he located the product and took care of the price difference. I still have to wait for the refund of the first one, but at least Tom, understood my frustration, especially with the fact that they can no longer take phone calls. So kudos to the manager for providing great and friendly customer service. But to the company as a whole, I can see one of the reasons you are losing business and closing stores. If I don’t want personal help or the ability to buy locally, I might as well go to Amazon. It’s unfortunate to see this trend in nearly every industry. Maybe we, as customers have helped caused this. Taking the fast and cheap way to buy a product. Not sure, but if companies like Best Buy, are going to retain their customers, they will have to work harder to make sure their customer service is at the top of the industry. Outsourcing is not always the best solution for this.
