i left my Yorkie here for his grooming , i showed them specifically how i wanted his hair to be cut . i even let his hair grow so he would have the right length. i have attached pictures of how they left him and what i wanted . also how long his hair was .

This is a wonderful pet day care! I worked for the Humane Society for years and looked at a few different day camps before picking best friends for our dog Brody and I honestly couldn't be happier. Their rates are reasonable the staff is incredibly knowledgeable and friendly and you can tell they really care about what they do. Our dog starts wagging his tail the moment we turn into the shopping center and he couldn't be more excited when he realizes he's going to camp that day. We have used their boarding services as well when we travel and Brody loves it comes back happy and exhausted from playing all day. I also think the staff has done an amazing job socializing him, when we rescued Brody he was a bit aggressive/uncomfortable with other dogs and would kinda pounce on little dogs but he has stopped all that behavior and we never have to worry about him at the dog park or when we're walking him. If you are looking for a safe environment for your dog to exercise, socialize and most importantly be happy while your working or on vacation then this is the place for you!

Anja is the best groomer. I have a large German Shepherd and he enjoys his time with Anja and Nicole who works at the front desk. He's a long-coat Shepherd and he looks amazing after each grooming. I had to post again - Anja is the best groomer. My pup was groomed again yesterday.

Speaking on behalf of my husky/Eskimo mix, I can say that this place is super fun! My dog loves to be here, and they love having her. She's all over their FB page and has only been there three times! My pup is 11 months old and she gets such good treatment. Best of all, she comes home tired, so I know she's getting enough exercise all day long. They take great care of her all day long, so I'm super excited to have her there. I highly recommend this place! Process are also excellent for this Rockville location.

The setup is nice as far as toys and multiple cages. The main problem is the daycare room for dogs. Never before have i seen a dog daycare that allows big dogs to play in the same room as small dogs. It's EXTREMELY dangerous and an accident waiting to happen. Every dog daycare has a big dog side AND a small dog side for that very reason. I would never allow my small pet here in fear of losing them. I'd never leave my big dog with them for fear of a lawsuit due to my dog mauling a Chihuahua. I know it costs more to hire 2 staff members per shift but it's absolutely necessary. Profit seems more important than safety. In reality though they will lose money once a small dog in their care is mauled by a large dog. They will be sued and possibly go out of business. Im a big dog lover and i really hope this review opens some eyes.

I have been hesitant to post a review about this place because I really have little nice to say. I will preface my review by saying I have only toured the place. First, I will mention that the ladies at the front were nice...nice enough. As far as the facility and leaving my beloved fury family....Heck No!! I would not ever bring my dog here or any place like it!! It reminded me of "the pound" ! One poor pup was left sitting in a crate with feces on the floor. Gross! I felt sorry for him. I would not recommend this place for any pet... it smells and is in desperate need of upgrading. Come on.. if I wouldn't stay in the place longer than 5 mins., I certainly would not allow my little angel to stay there either. I'm sorry, I'm just being honest.

We have brought our Jack Russel terrier to Best Friends for 4 years now, and have been extremely satisfied with the care given to our family member. He is able to get exercise and socialization during the day at the doggie day camp. I am able to watch him play via my I-phone from the live feed on line. Overnight, he stays in a room with a camera which takes pictures every 15 minutes, so we can see him curled up with his blanky. Before we take him home, he gets the spa treatment with bath, nails done, and teeth brushing. We have complete confidence that our baby is well treated and cared for. We also appreciate the picture taken and emailed to us on the day after his arrival. I have strongly recommended Best Friends to my friends with pets.

Our dog Zeus has been groomed at Best Friends for the past three years with excellent results. Wonderful and accommodating staff. Zeus spent a week there last year when we vacationed on the west coast and they took great care of him. It will be hard to find a better place.
