Best Friends is owned by Alexa Suvak, who has an extensive and impressive 30 year dog and cat grooming background. She always wants to ensure that your best friend and her furry client receive the quality care that they deserve.
Best Friends Grooming Salon has been serving the community of Bellevue for over 20 years, and has racked up several awards including the Best of Bellevue by the Redmond Reporter in 2012 and the Best of the 425 by 425 Magazine in 2014.

I got my kitten for his first grooming session and I must say I was super disappointed. They charged a $145 for basically cuts and nicks everywhere including his neck. The legs were trimmed so badly watch the images.
First time taking our two pups here, we have a young mini-doodle with lots of energy and an older Cairn-Pom mix who is very paw fussy. The folks there were really kind, great with the pups, and Lisa our groomer did a wonderful job with their baths and stylings! The pricing is fantastic as well! We will definitely be coming back here for our future grooming needs!
My 165 pound Leonberger has been groomed many times at this salon and they ensure that the dog's overall health is prioritized skin can breathe, better by removing mats and shaving where needed, etc.. Thank you!
We have appointments for Friday they cancel and re-schedule for Sunday at 9am they came late around 9:40 then they did not have the dogs ready until 9pm one of my dogs was so sick all night vomiting and feeling sick and anxious. 12 hours for grooming insane
I have been a client for years, first with a mini poodle, then with a standard poodle puppy. They are helpful and do a great job every time. Highly recommend.
It's in the details!! It was our first time at this salon, since we haven't lived in WA for all that long, but we've been to lots of grooming appointments with our dogs over the years. Best Friends really has their service down. They are efficient, but caring. Our dog, pictured here, is a 14.5 y.o. Portuguese Water Dog with a thick wavy coat that needs grooming every 6-8 weeks. He's in very poor health sore joints, deaf, and some neurological issues, but they handled him with patience and kindness. The groomer was observant and responsive to his pain or discomfort. They even scheduled him for early check-in and quick turnaround so that his stress level would be lower. On top of all that, his cut looks great!! It's even all over, which is amazing because I'm sure he layed down most of the time. Well done!!
This is the second time I have taken my sweet angel to Best Friends Grooming Salon and I absolutely love them!! I was a bit worried both times, but she always turns out looking just like how I ask. She is never skiddish or frightened afterwards and seems much happier with her new cut. Thank you for taking care of my best friend!
My partner dropped off our dog for a grooming appointment in the morning and when he was picked up, he was limping severely. Not sure how or when it happened, but he was miserable at home. We called and left a message to speak with someone about it and didn’t hear back. We called again the next day and spoke with the groomer who wasn’t aware of anything that happened but said she would have the owner call us to talk about it. The owner never called - he doesn’t seem concerned with the health and safety of his clients. Regardless of how it happened or who is to blame, they should at the very least be concerned with the situation. We will be going to a new groomer and I suggest you do the same.
This place was absolutely terrible. We paid for a haircut and all they did was give my dog a bath. We had to wait 8 hours for just a bath!
