Best Western

The hotel is in a good location, very quiet. Huge 2 story building that also houses a Mexican restaurant with decent food. Free breakfast was adequate, they had all the usuals, waffles,eggs,sausage,gravy, biscuits, fruit, yogurt and cereal. Nice clean room, but the whole building needs to be updated. They need to get the lamps with the charger ports and the furniture looks old and dusty. The outdoor pool is in an awkward place but it's nice. Exercise room and business office. Free wifi.

The Best Western in Okmulgee Oklahoma was very courteous,thoughtful, helpful and we truly enjoyed our visit. We came to Oklahoma for the Creek Indian festival and 2022 and had a wonderful time at the Best Western we returned again in 2023. The breakfast was great and the staff always had the coffee going. The pool was wonderful in the afternoon to cool off. temperature was in the 100's. Our rooms were always ready and clean when we returned. If we needed anything we went to the front desk , Mary or her family and staff would go out of their way to help us with pool towels, places to eat, places to shop, things to do. The fire works can be seen at night from the Best Western. We give them a 10 plus Rating and encourage everyone to check them out in Okmulgee, Ok.

We are having our bathroom renovated & stayed here for 2 nights a few weeks ago. We are back for 2 more nights while the tile sets because it's a really good place to stay. The staff is helpful & friendly, the rooms are clean, comfortable, and safe. And, you even get breakfast during your stay. Staying here & the fact that our bathroom remodel is almost done have been the only bright spots during this renovation. Thank you Best Western Okmulgee. We really appreciate you.

Very clean. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Enjoyed our long stay there. Didn't try out the exercise room, although I saw some people using it. Didn't get to swim forgot suits. Walkability: It has 2 floors. Second floor accessible from the inside only. The lower floor is large. Wide halls & doorways. Well lit inside. Clean smelling, no lingering odors. Big TV, cable and internet wi-fi. Food & drinks: Mexican restaurant is attached. No room service. But they do have take out available. Only one drink machine. No vending machines. Noteworthy details: I did think the toilet was a bit low. But then we are used to handicap stools. Shower/tub has non-slick coating. Big plus in my book.

Rooms very clean. Staff very nice. Breakfast good but could have been replenished faster for the early crowd and been hotter. Very quiet even though near a busy highway. Overall, good!Rooms: 5/5

As I am writing this, I am sitting in this uncomfortable bed, sticky from the humidity in the room, uncomfortable because the sheets are damp from the humidity, and irritated that I didn't leave after the state of the first room. Apparently, they have rooms set aside for people with pets, which we do have; a dachshund puppy. And I absolutely get having rooms set aside specifically for pet owner guests. However, I don't understand the rooms being completely disgusting. If all of these reviews are positive, then they mustn't have stayed in the pet owner rooms. The first room we were given was room 101. The room reeked. I can't describe it, but the bathroom also reeked, but I recognized that smell as vomit. The sheets were damp and the air was humid, so we figured the damp sheets were from the humidity. It didn't matter, I had to get out because the odor was making me nauseous. The room next to us was another pet owner room but being repainted so we were moved to room 105. The room didn't smell quite as bad, but it was horribly humid, damp sheets and the bathroom smelled horribly of vomit. We wanted to leave but instead a woman came in and sprayed the bathroom, room, and a/c filter. Obviously, that's a bandaid over a bigger problem. We left the a/c running in hopes it would help with the humidity. When we came back, it was not only humid, but now the floors were wet, too. The room smelled worse than when we left and the bathroom again smelled like strong vomit. The upside is that the staff were very kind and even gave our puppy a few little treats, which I thought was cute. Overall, this stay has made me realize that Best Westerns, as much as I wanted to believe they were a place we could stay, I just can't anymore. The standards are not the same across all BW and this is the second one I have been in where I feel disgusting and irritable coming in.

It was very nice and peaceful stay...the room was bigger and nicer than I expected to tell the truth. I loved their continental breakfast and was surprised that they had real pancakes and waffles that you cooked yourself...made my day!!! Plus in the room they had a paper that had a prayer for us and it was the first time I ever see a hotel do this...it made me feel like a person and not just money to them ...if that makes sense...If I ever get a chance to stay here again, I'm going to see if they have any copies of the prayer...I will definitely tell others to stay here... thank you very much for a great experience with my stay
