The upkeep since this time last year has really gone downhill. There was a half empty water bottle in the floor of the room from the people that stayed previously. The bathroom wasn't the cleanest. The day people were really good and professional. However the overnight desk person I can't say the same for. There was a really loud fight on the second floor and I found it strange that the staff couldn't hear that. They did take care of the matter pretty quickly though once notified. The area was feeling pretty safe. There are gas stations,convenience stores, grocery stores, and restaurants in the area.  Had the overnight desk person not assumed that I was the reason for my key not working I may have been able to add an extra star even though my room was not in the best condition. If staff makes a mistake you should never find a way to make it look like it was the customers mistake. My key was put in for 2 days instead of five. I assure you that I did not have my key anywhere around my mobile phone!!!

I was surprised to learn that this hotel has rooms with spa tubs at a very reasonable price. My wife and I went for a quick getaway for our anniversary and we were impressed by the cleanliness of the room. The layout was nice with the tub in the main room. The tub easily accommodates 2 people with plenty of room to spare. I think we found a new date night spot.

Was close to Frankenmuth.  Desk staff were friendly and helpful.  Room was large and comfortable.  Common areas were clean and well maintained. Nice pool.  Housekeeping only does room upon request.  Rooms in back had a lot of highway noise.  Would request room at the front of hotel if returning.Rooms: 4/5

I needed to adjust our reservation last min. I called and Danisha was very accommodating. She worked some magic and fixed our problem. She was very pleasant also. I also met her in the morning at breakfast and she was very nice at the desk! You can tell she belongs in customer service!! Its so nice to come across a truly nice person! Not to mention it is Thanksgiving and she is here instead of with her family. She is definitely an asset to Best western in Flint.  The rooms are clean and the hotel overall was nice.

ADA room but not very ADA friendly in the bathroom. Had all the safety stuff except when taking shower it floods the bathroom even with 2 drains. They did not do the roll in shower correctly and so the water runs out of the area into rest of bathroom. Not enough towels to lay down on floor so don't slip, nor enough to dry off with. Mold in shower, toilet VERY slow flushing. Liquid stains all over chairs. Not much of a breakfast. However some of the staff were very helpful and very nice.

Need remodel. Rooms smell like smoke. Not getting cleaned well. Shower made humming noise all the time. Know on shower does not work well. Sink faucet to short to use properly.Rooms: 2/5

The day staff is amazing with providing great customer service experiences, the night staff not so much! My room smelt fresh and was extremely clean! You also can’t beat the nightly rates here.

I recently stayed. The last time I had stayed I must of stayed when they updated. I did have some issues. The room 110. Walking up to the room was gross. The carpet was filthy. This is not a good look for the customers. They need to carpet clean that more frequently. They need to paint. In the room I was not feeling it at all Comfortable NOT this time. The walls was scratched up and chipped needs to be updated with fresh paint. The bathrooms had mold on the surface needs to be re caulked. The carpet was filthy needs to be cleaned. There were cob webs we had to knock down because I am scared of spiders. The dressers were scratched up needs to be repaired. The neighbors were smoking and the smoke came in the room. My grandbaby has asthma not a good things. When we booked they said pillow top mattresses. HMMM Maybe they are worn out because my back is hurting like hell. I know certain places are short of staff but for the rate they should make sure that the carpets are cleaned weekly, the caulking is done monthly, the painting is done everytime housekeeping see a mark. Also the room smelled like sour water. Tell the housekeeper to clean the rooms with clean fresh water. I should not have to come to any hotel with cleaning products doing my own cleaning. I would of paid $50 per night but not $100. They should do better.

The boyfriend and I booked a king suite with kitchenette for the weekend for a wedding. The room was clean, spacious, and well laid out. I didn't get to use the kitchenette but loved the two burner stovetop. The hot tub and pool were clean and lovely to use. Breakfast had a wide variety and they were restocking often. Fresh diy waffles and another hot item, lots of cereals, waffles, yogurt, juice, etc. We had a great time when at the hotel and it was in a convenient location with an Arby's nextdoor. Thank you to the staff!
