Great place to visit and the customer service is fantastic. I stayed there for 20 days and they took care of my room and I had breakfast in the morning. The employees were great and helpful. Thak you very much for everything.Rooms: 5/5
Everything from making reservations to checking in and out was easy. The lobby was peaceful and inviting with a beautiful water feature. The room was clean and quiet. The staff were very accommodating. Carolyn was a wonderful host. She was genuinely interested and engaged with her guests. Would definitely stay here again.Rooms: 5/5
Great hotel! Very clean & comfortable rooms. The beds were super! Good breakfast too. Staff is very kind & friendly - especially Darin, the young gentleman who checked us in. He was gracious and kind and obviously very good at his job. Thank you for a great night's stay. We will definitely be back again!
The king sized bed is great for us but I recommend you bring your own pillows though. Their pillows are couch pillow sized. The mattress is obviously wrapped underneath the sheets to prevent transferance of certain bugs we all dread when going to a hotel. Because of that wrap or something like a hard plastic, you'll make a lot of noise turning in your sleep. Their Netflix is down but you can still access youtube thankfully. I would still go here again because of the room familiarity and excellent comfort in a well air conditioned room. Checking in and out was effortless. Staff were very pleasant!
Clean beautiful with great looking exercise equipment room and well-kept for the rooms are spotless. The sheets look like they could have been straight out of the package. Our room had a full kitchenette which would’ve made it the ideal room if we were planning on staying for a longer period of time I wish we had time to!. Great value good times.
The host of the front desk was very nice. The room appeared very clean. My issue is with the bed, which was the worst bed I have ever been in whether in a motel, hotel or home. We were traveling from Pennsylvania to North Carolina I got absolutely no sleep at all. The complimentary breakfast items were a waste. The coffee was worse than dirty dishwater. And even worse was the facial tissues and toilet paper. You actually could see through them, so using them for the intended purpose was ridiculously impossible. I wasted $139.90 staying at this place. For a senior on a very limited income with no savings that money could have put food on my table. The reason we stopped at a Best Western as opposed to another hotel, was when we used to stay in Best Western in Maryland, we always enjoyed ourselves. The name needs to be changed to worst Western Plus Hopewell.
Front desk people so kind and helpful, made us feel at home. Gave us suggestions to eat at Rosa's Italian restaurant, wonderful meal, fast and pleasant wait staff. Rosina salad was excellent. Hotel exceptionally clean, dining area being constantly cleaned, felt very safe during this trying time of travel.
Simply loved our stay. We are so fond of Best Western that we book a room here whenever we travel. The room are so nice and spacious. We always book the rooms with the kitchenette so we don't have to worry about going out to eat. It's a really nice place to just get away from our everyday routine.
Hard to get the temperature right in the room, and there was only a sheet and light cotton cover on the bed, no comforter so we were chilly. Fitness room is full of broken equipment, and no paper towels or spray solution to clean handles after use like every other gym or hotel has. Only choice was the elliptical that had one speed without the screen working. Otherwise rooms were clean, breakfast ok, staff friendly.
Service animal handlers be warned - With the hope of avoiding any issues and insuring a smooth check-in, I called the hotel before my arrival to confirm my reservation as well as inform the receptionist that I would have my service dog with me. During my phone call the receptionist asked my dog's size and if she would be wearing any gear, I was confused, but I answered her questions. She was kind and everything seemed to be in order. A few hours later I received a call from the hotel stating I would need my registration papers before being allowed entry and I would also need to pay a $250 fee for having my medical equipment. I informed them of my rights, which are protected by federal law, and how not only is registration illegal in the US, but charging a fee is illegal as well. She was clearly annoyed, but was accepting of the information and I was hopeful that there would be no further issues. At the end of our stay, I was told they would need to do an inspection of the room before we checked out, the receptionist said "Since you did not have room service and you have the dog, we need to check for any damages" I asked her if this was standard for all of her guests, she stumbled over her words, I repeated my question, and she hesitantly said "yes, this is the standard". I was very skeptical as to this ACTUALLY being standard procedure and upon further research, I found it is not. I promptly informed the receptionist that this was clearly discrimination. She then retracted her previous statement and claimed that she had never said anything about inspecting the room before we checked out and that she never mentioned my service dog. Although I was allowed entry into the hotel and most of the receptionists were kind to me, I was, on more than one occasion, treated unfairly because of my medical equipment. Based on my experience, I would not recommend staying at this hotel if you are disabled, especially if you have a service animal. I am very disappointed in the lack of understanding, lack of education, and clear discrimination.
