Bethesda Thrift Shops generate revenue for Bethesda Lutheran Communities, a national providers of person-centered, community-based supports and services for thousands of people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Bethesda provides residential settings, supported-living programs, employment assistance, camps and outreach services, all grounded in Bethesda's Christian mission to offer people the highest level of dignity and respect. Shop or volunteer at a Bethesda Thrift Shop and advance the mission of Bethesda. Store profits provide essential funds to support the Bethesda ministry.

Clean and we'll organized.  Fair prices compared to the other thrift stores in town.

I wasted $15 on a broken steamer that obviously wasn't tested before it was placed on the shelves for sale. This steamer was so gummed up full of calcium, I had to use a channel locks to get the cap off. After several times soaking it in vinegar, I got it to produce steam but the valve keeps getting stuck open. This is a serious burn hazard. Come to find out, I could've just bought a new one at Walmart for $32.

My favorite thrift store in town! It's big but not overwhelming, prices are great and there is a high turnover so it's different everytime I go in.

The store is laid out well. But prices are too high. They are selling some items for more than you can buy them brand new.

Nice store with a wide variety of merchandise however there was a yellow clearance ticket for 99 cents on a small blanket throw and the cashier told me it wasn't valid, price was $2.99, should really know your prices. Also they used to have a lot of furniture for sale, now not so much. Meh

Never anything here, nothings ever changed, no new inventory for 5 years, both names are stupid . “ able light” ???? “ bethedsa “ ???? Sounds like asbestos

Very nice clean store,,, reasonable prices an there items are good quality  yet,, not worn out an stained,,, friendly clerks,,, will be going back

For the most part it's a great store.  Prices keep going up.  So you do have to search for the good ones.  Not going to pay $10 for a used/stained purse when I can get a brand new one for that. But some stuff is very cheap.  I get the furniture is brand new but being a thrift store shouldn't you be trying to help people out not get top dollar?  Go to Ashley's Furniture and get it a lot cheaper.
