We believe children want to learn.
At our school, children engage cooperatively in authentic inquiry-based learning, working together and helping each other, rather than competing against each other. The pace of learning is determined by each child's own developmental readiness, enhanced vigilantly by creative strategies to help each child rise to higher cognitive levels.
The school provides a low pupil to teacher ratio, where we draw out each student's intellect while fostering the development of a life-long interest in learning. The work we pursue is in multi-age settings, with time for both collaborative and independent work. Our work is frequently "hands-on," and often lends itself to interdisciplinary endeavors.
