We searched all over LA for high-quality single sleeper chairs. These proved very hard to find. At Betty's Place we found several options to choose from. We picked a couple of Luonto chairs that were very comfortable and were give a wide choice of fabrics. Laura, our salesperson, was very experienced and did not give us a hard sell. While we were not in the market for a recliner, we were tempted by their amazing selection. Thanks Laura

Betty's Place is run by owner Laura Lahr, and we feel very lucky to have found her and her friendly store. The shopping experience is delightfully fun, as there as so many options to consider. Laura patiently explained the characteristics and pros and cons of different materials, but without applying pressure. She let us make our own decisions, but when we were conflicted and specifically asked for her opinion about a color choice -- we brought photos of our living room -- she offered which option she thought would work best. We felt at home. We found Betty's Place because we were looking for a store that would do custom re-upholstery of furniture pieces we have had for some time. Our first work order was for four benches that were redone in a beautiful leather. Our second project was six dining chairs that were reupholstered in a stain-resistant fabric. Laura had carefully demonstrated how to remove a stain. She is very knowledgeable and cares about her customer. We were amazed at the speed with which her team turned around our furniture, and we were delighted with the outcome. Given our careful selections, we have no doubt that the new upholstery will last for the rest of the life of each piece. Plan to spend a little time making selections. You won't be disappointed choosing Betty's Place.

Bettys place have great stuff - but their delivery people seems to just ditch boxes on other peoples lawns.. not cool and definitely not a way a company should behave in 2022. City did not remove this and in the end we had to pay to have Betty's shipping containers removed.. unimpressed and a instant non-fan

I just moved to a new place and spent a whole day running around trying to find a couch that I liked. I couldn't find anything I liked, and the few things I thought were serviceable but could be better were all on several months-long delivery delays due to pandemic supply chain issues. Tired and dispirited, I figured I'd take a last minute chance and check out Betty's Place since it was near where I live. Laura greeted me, walked me though everything they had to offer, and addressed all of my questions and concerns. I decided to purchase a couch customized to my liking, and a comparatively short three weeks later I could not be happier with my purchase. There's clear craftsmanship and care in the couch's build and it's one of the most comfortable I've had the pleasure to sit on in a very long time. If I have a need for any more couches or chairs, Betty's Place will be the first, and I imagine last, place I look!

Great store and staff. Very helpful, knowledgeable and personable. Wide selection of quality reclining furniture. Excellent dealer of Ekornes Stressless recliners. Kudos to owner Laura.
