As Judge, I will help instill confidence and trust in our judicial system. I will protect the rights of every party, consider each case with an open mind, listen carefully and respectfully to all parties, and apply the law in a fair and impartial manner. I am an independent voice with no personal or political agenda, and no special interest. I believe strongly that party politics does not belong in judicial elections or the courtroom, and have been an outspoken advocate of our 100+ year Minnesota tradition of our non-partisan judiciary. I will apply deeply-rooted values of integrity, hard work and community involvement, learned as a litigation and trial attorney, business person and community volunteer. I’m passionate about Hennepin County and its residents and I respectfully ask for your vote.
To serve the residents of Hennepin County as a well-respected, ethical Judge by listening carefully and respectfully to all parties, considering each case with an open mind, and applying the law fairly and impartially to the dispute, and to further the overall mission of our Hennepin County Court, which is: "To provide a system of Justice that assures equal access for the fair and timely resolution of cases and controversies."
