Amazing park, fishing is ok to catch very small catfish and blue gill. Playground is safe and fun. Baseball games are interesting and plenty of parking. Park closes at sunset. Track is smooth and goes around entire lake. Brigdes are narrow but safe.
Great park for the whole family. Walking/ bike track, baseball field, basketball court, tennis courts, Ultimate frisbee, and playground for the kids, with tons of parking
Bevier Park has been around for quite a while. I remember when the area across the street was actually a garbage dump. It's a good place to get your exercise in the morning, look at wildlife, enjoy a nice spring summer or fall day. You can even do a little fishing or feed the geese and the Ducks. Watch the Blue Jays and the Cardinals. Many mornings there are deer standing at the tree line. Just an enjoyable area.
One of my favorite parks in Waukegan! Great gated playground, perfect for toddlers. Easily accessible via the new bike path extension...yea!
Very delightful park
Beautiful! I prefer to walk around the pond listening to music instead of going to the gym. My nephew loves to play with the other kids on the playground. They have basketball and tennis courts. They do have public bathrooms.. You'll need to bring your own toilet paper and hand soap.
Beautiful park with lots to offer anyone looking for a peaceful place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Great pond and walking path around it. Fun playground for kids. Bathrooms are clean. Fields are well maintained. Movies in the park during the summer.
We came here to play disc golf. The course had a nice layout and the concrete pads were clean and well maintained. The park itself was basic but nice and also well maintained. The disc golf course is probably a 3/10 for difficulty on the front 9 and 6/10 for difficulty on the back 9. There are a couple holes on the back 9 that are narrow with lots of trees.
First time with our dogs. Got caught at the start of frisbee golf tournament, they were extremely nice. Lovely park. Enjoyed what wildlife the dogs allowed us to see.
Great family friendly area with a lot of eye candy. Ive been going here since I was 10 years old. Theres a paved pathed that circles around a fishing pond with a island in the center. There is a fenced in park along with basketball and tennis courts. You usually see many different types of wildlife like squrrils, geese, ducks, and even the occasional crane.
