BGWX Inc started operations in 2007 on a stretch of 500 miles of ex-ATSF lineage in New Mexico & Arizona. We first started out running local business and trying to attract bigger business, as we progressed along our services expanded as well. We've come into hauling coal, intermodal, vehicle traffic, mixed freight, and leasing locomotives. Also in 2008 we added a 39 mile shortline taking over an ex-MP (ex-UP) line in Kansas. Then in 2009 we took over a 54 mile line in Arkansas, as an ex-M&NA (Missouri & North Arkansas) line. And we are still expanding business and plan to lease more locomotives out.
