I was recently in an accident and was recommend by many to set up a consultation with attorney Druga Bhurtel. I am very glad I went to him. DIVORCE CHARGE: $15000 PLUS BE AWARE ! BE AWARE !! BE AWARE !!!  Mr. Bhurtel, please do not request anybody to remove my rating from one star. It’s illegal and I have my own rights to give any stars. If my reviews which I have written is incorrect and wrong meet me directly with my friends and yours as well. If you have any questions regarding my previous review talk to me directly not in public to make your law firm 5 stars. You can’t satisfy all the customers  in this world. Sometime you are rude to somebody and sometime you are polite. You were absolutely rude to me and you never showed humanity as well. Living in a society rather than material world impacts decrease in anybody’s happiness. I WILL NEVER RECOMMEND THIS FIRM TO ANY INDIVIDUALS.  Durga Bhurtel Law Office personal commenting on my 1 star rating saying that I could not afford his office rates. Hello, how can you charge $15000 prior deposit plus+ if the cost increases beyond $15000 for a divorce case man? Are you kidding me ?  IMPORTANT: I have solved my issue in $0 not in $15000 that too Durga Bhurtel was demanding a prior deposit. DO NOT TRY TO SAY AGAIN ITS A COMPLEX ISSUE. Again, Keep in your mind do not try to force me to remove this rating or upgrade this rating, otherwise I have to take serious actions on this matter.  NOTE: SOMEBODY CALLED ME YESTERDAY TO REMOVE 1 STAR RATING FOR THIS FIRM.  UPDATES: Raza Raza is not a fake name. Raza Raza is a real person. This is Bishnu ADHIKARI. Do you want me to clarify more Mr. Bhurtel? After 1 year this guy is replying that I am fake. He forcefully needs 5 star rating so that he can fake people with heavy charges. BE AWARE OF THIS FIRM.

As a fellow attorney I recommend Durga Bhurtel. Durga and his associates hold law degrees in Nepal, India, and New York. Durga's great skill and ability to practice law in multiple languages, and in multiple countries is remarkable. It is rare for an attorney to be able to hold a license to practice in two jurisdictions. Holding law licenses in three jurisdictions is a feat accomplished by very few. Durga's expertise in foreign law gives him the unique ability to handle international matters involving both American and Nepalese concerns.  Durga's associates Babu Ram Devkota and Uttam Panday have strong credentials. Before Babu entered private practice in the USA he was a law professor at one of the top universities in Nepal.  Durga and the attorneys in his office also display a great deal of empathy and kindness to their clients. Many seek his help at their most vulnerable, and I can say without hesitation that he treats his clients with the respect they deserve.  If I had an international issue that involved Nepali law Durga would absolutely be the first one I would contact.

I wouldn’t recommend this law firm to any one very shady.  Unprofessional to the finest.  The guy on the phone was not really helpful. Same with bhurtel dai.

While Using Bhurtel Law Firm PLLC think twice. You should have at least $15000 to file a contested divorce. And if you are using Durga Bhurtel $400/hour should be paid. Statistic shows that in New York 50% of the total population has a divorce rate however, I have visited lot of Divorce lawyers and no one had asked me $15,000 initial deposit. Person who is a immigrant would face problem like me, it’s obvious. I am using google rating to this law firm because every one should know how much does it cost. Intention is: to make upcoming customer clear about the facts. I am not using service doesn’t mean that I should not rate. For instance, if somebody is selling expired items in a grocery store, I have a rights to complain without buying it, or using the service.
