I’ve gone to Dr. Bhushan for 14 years with my now 4 kids. She, herself is an immaculate doctor and cares for each child as her own. I’d recommend her to anyone ten fold. But, the answering services and staff in charge of that - o would not! They never ever answer the phone and call backs are unheard of. Mostly, if I call to make an appointment with her, why try to schedule me with someone else? It’s beyond frustrating! I used to get in same day with sick kids - Now they tell me weeks to get in. Not impressed with their less than stellar ability to make things happen and get kids seen. I truly believe she has no idea what’s going on with the Langley staff setting appointments - or lack thereof.
Dr.Bhushan is an amazing pediatric doctor. I recommend her to everyone. She truly cares about our children and she's extremely knowledgeable. She's a no nonsense professional and I love that about her. I'm blessed to have her for my son. As for the office staff they do the best they can with what they have.
Her bedside manner was really awful.she made constant comments to my daughter I'm not going to cut your legs or arms off. Or you'll stay 5 forever. Weird stuff. Then gave knowledgeable schooling programs that were helpful , but her words and communication were demeaning and hurtful instilling fear to my daughter.the medical assistant was good. And front office took days to make an appointment changing doctors Bhushan should be out of practice for this type of conduct and communication.
Dr Bhushan is an excellent doctor, but the office itself is a nightmare. No one ever answers the phone or calls back. When they do they're rude and snappy. They constantly get my son's prescription wrong. He switched meds well over a year ago but they will send over his old prescription and only part of his current one and calling to get it corrected is near impossible due to no one ever answering the phone or calling back. He consistently misses doses of his medication due to this issue, sometimes for days to weeks at a time, because no one picks up the phone. Insurance issues are the only reason I still bring my children here, otherwise I would have switched a long time ago.
I love Dr. Bhushan! She was my dr when I was a kid and loved her, that’s why I chose her for my kids. The problem is her staff! They never answer the phone for anything and do NOT call you back if you leave a message. You’re better off going to the office. I keep telling myself I need to switch dr because of her staff but I can’t seem to leave her. She needs a whole new staff and the office would be great
I have read previous comments insulting this doctor with false accusations. She isn't against breastfeeding as a matter of fact she helped me with positioning when I was breastfeeding my daughter TWO YEARS AGO. I honestly don't think I would've been able to continue breastfeeding my daughter had she not helped me. She can rightfully criticize this country as she is a citizen. Every time we go to see her she's always helped us and is very educated in her profession. I did notice though the nurses were a bit rude but that doesn't take away from Dr. Bhushan in my opinion. She's the best pediatrician I have had look after my kids and I will continue to recommend her to friends and family.
Doesn’t answer the phone when you call to make an appointment and when they do decide to call you back which is very rarely they are rude. I’ve taken my son to the quick care more times in the last 2 months than his actual doctor because they don’t answer the phone. What’s the point of asking to leave a voicemail if you aren’t going to call back? Very disorganized in the office. Will definitely be finding a new doctor for my son.
My husband went to Dr. Bhushan and both of our kids go. She is literally THE best! Super knowledgeable, genuinely cares about the health of the kids and remedies that work, and always has their best interest at heart! She remembers all of my kids as well no matter how long the length of time goes before she sees them again. Her office isnt the best, but her services far outweight any of that and beyond!
Even when you have an appointment you'll never get seen less than 45mins after. Always a long wait and barely any seating. Nurses are clearly overworked and stressed which makes them come off rude. Been calling for almost an hour now back to back and it's like the phone is off the hook. Constant busy signal. Just talked to the specialist she referred us to and they asked if we got the results from the X-rays yet from our pediatrician and we said no they haven't called us yet. Turns out my 10 month old has pneumonia and the doctor had results days ago but apparently it's not worth a phone call!
If I could rate 0 stars I would. Take this as an old patient of her’s; at 13 I told her I was suffering severe depression and anxiety. Told me I just needed to go outside and join sports. When it got to the point of me hurting myself she prescribed me Zoloft and Trazodone dosages that were way too high for someone my age and what I was suffering from. In 6th grade I was suffering exhaustion induced asthma during gym class so she told me that I was just too fat I was only 160 lbs. I was taken there since I was born and didn’t find out until I was 18 and going to a specialist that I was born with a 40% blocked deviated septum as well as family history for breathing problems. When I was 11 I hurt my knee while roller skating, left a huge swelling black bruise on my knee, she never asked for ex rays or a follow up, just told me it was sprained. Ended up turning into a tumor that I will need removed. She would turn valuable time about the patient me into a conversation with my family on rants about how America has an awful education system and how India was far better which was HIGHLY unprofessional. Just because someone sounds like a professional doesn’t mean they are. Besides this, her office is way too small for all the patients she somehow has. It was always unsanitary and smelly. I have vivid memories of having to sit outside in the heat with the flu for hours. I am not sure what she was like years ago, but she seriously needs to be reviewed by the Florida Board of Medicine. If you care about your child having quality care, do not bring them to this doctor.
