I usually have a good experience when I visit the store but today a cashier named Katherine had poor customer service. She had her back turned when I came in her line and did not seem interested in helping me at all.she was so buy talking to her co worker that she thought that my payment didn't go thru when it was her fault for not paying attention and completing the transaction. She must be new..If so she needs more training.
Nice clean store, the teens that work there have so much personality and are adorable! Location loses 1 star because one of them tried to pocket a 20 out of my change. I caught her, so we're good! Overall, nice store!
Bilo has the best deals for those pinching pennies and coupons during this epidemic. Buy one get one free and 10 for 10 save huge on a tight budget. Friendly service and short wait period are always reliable. Self service check out and 10 items are less cashier's always reliable.
This is why I visit southern small cities, it's to get that southern hospitality service that no one else can do in the west coast of this beautiful State of our. By God I got it here at this grocery store. I love my Mile high city Denver to death but someone once said to me that there are the pros and cons in living in either a metropolis City or and it's beautiful southern charm City like this.... don't change that beautiful southern way of treating people like that because I implemented that concept back in my home City.
It's a shame that this business is going away. They have some of the best deals and prices all around in my opinion. Some of the employees told me that their plan is to close by April 2021. I will definitely miss this store.
I have noticed every time I go here, they very seldom ask if they can help me out. Normally I can handle it, but there are times when I could use the help. Especially since I have some health issues. I spend a significant amount at least 200.00 every time I go in there. At least once a week. I was parked by the cart corral and as I was putting my groceries in the car, an associate of Bi-lo was retrieving the carts and while doing so the metal railing popped out of place and hit my car. I'm very surprised there was no dent or a scratch. The guy didn't apologize or even say anything about it until I walked around to look at it. All he said was it didn't scratch it. All is good except for the fact that they obviously know about this issue because there was strapping tape around the railing. So that will continue to happen I guess and possibly damage another customer's car. Needless to say, as of now I will take my business to Ingles across the street. At least they always ask if I need help and they are always courteous.
I rarely shop at this location so the sample size is small but I stopped by this evening for a few items since our normal store was busy. The store was clean but had a very dated feel to it, many of the items like produce were out or in poor shape and the meat selection was empty and what was present was in very poor shape. From a value perspective I also found it lacking. Compared to Aldi, Lidl, or Walmart this location is significantly more for the staples Bread was 1.99 vs .87 at Aldi for example. The pricing seemed to even be a little more that Publix but again my sample size is pretty small. They do offer a lot of coupons and many things were on sale with their store card so it is possible that it could be a store on a budget shoppers rotation if they watch for sales but considering the amount competition in a 10 minute drive it is hard to recommend stopping here.
A week ago I went for helium because everyone was out manager assisted me very professionally and gave me a discount because my balloons were so small. Then I went Saturday last minute for my sons corsage for prom and she made it beautifully within a matter of 2 hours of me calling everyone else had told me no or tried to over charge me.
If you watch what you're buying I've found that you can shop here as cheap as Walmart and have a much better selection. BI-LO prides themselves on their friendly employees but usually they don't acknowledge you and I've had some just ignore me when I speak to them. Maybe it's the departments because it's usually the produce and refrigerated section folks that are so churlish.
It’s a wonderful grocery store. Nice staff. Friendly customer service. This location is always willing to assist. I hate that they’re going to be closing doors soon.
