Great place to rent an easy and rideable bike for the gorgeous Augusta canal trail. Pleasant and helpful to interface with, they provide inexpensive rentals without a time limit, and they even gave us a free frozen ice pop at the end of our ride. Recommend them 100% and would re-visit!
Great place to rent a bike for an easy ride along the historic canal and river. Quality rental bikes were comfortable and in good shape. Leslie takes care to adjust the bike to fit you. Out and back ride can go as far as downtown Augusta river walk if you want. This is the most fun we had during our Augusta visit.
Brought my bike in in two pieces and he had it fixed and new brake line ran through the frame along with a ton of other adjustments in 30 minutes. Super friendly and VERY affordable!!! I’ll never go elsewhere.
Bicycle Peddler’s customer service is outstanding. I showed up with three bicycles on a Saturday afternoon. Sam was able to fix all three bikes in about an hour. That was incredible and unexpected. He adjusted the brakes, tire pressure, check the gears, tighten up the screws, installed two bike stands and changed two tire tubes. This is by far the best bicycle shop I ever done business with. His prices are very affordable too. I was able to ride with my son for about 4 miles. That in itself was priceless.. I recommend this shop to anyone needing maintenance or looking for a new bike.
Such a great company. You can tell they care about the customer most. Even down to safety like offering a water on a hot day complementary. The bikes were in awesome condition and the route is perfect for a short or long cruise. You can make breaks along the way to picnic or catch your breath.
The Historic Augusta canal, always a great place to ride. Both asphalt and dirt with plenty of nature and modern amenities along the way. Extends now from the headgates to downtown Augusta, walk ride or run but get outside-its beautiful.
Absolutely the best bike rental! We had the benefit of talking with the owner and she fitted our bikes since we are all on the taller side. She made rec. & we rode from the locks to downtown Augusta- over 15 miles- such fun & it was only $20 a bike for the whole day!!! Highly recommend

I must say Bicycle Peddler’s customer service is premium. I showed up at 11:35 Wednesday morning with a stripped right crank arm and two new pedals in hand. I was certain that the crank arm might need to be replaced. Sam did a quick assessment and was able to repair it within five 5 minutes. Can you say prompt and professional service? He then gave the bike a quick general look over and hander her to me ready to ride. This is without questions the best bicycle shop I ever done business with. His prices are very affordable too. I was so pleased, that although I was not dress to ride, I road the bike out of the shop, up the hill and in the parking lot and pounded her for about fifteen 15 minutes, just enjoying the moment of being back in the saddle.
