Jarrod was super helpful and knowledgeable during my bike-buying experience. John, their mechanic brings a wealth of knowledge as a former professional mountain biker. Not too many bike shops can say that! I have found my go-to bike shop.
I dropped off my husband’s bike to get serviced, and it was done super quickly and the staff was very friendly. John helped me find a new bike that fit my needs and my price point. Kyle also helped me when I came back in. I loved that neither of them tried to upsell me, except for where it made sense long-term. They didn’t have the bike in store, but Kyle helped me find how to get it as soon as possible. They are great at educating and being genuinely helpful.
10/6/23 Shalin and the team at the Fort Worth South location made my wife’s dream come true. My wife Wannitsa has been dreaming of the day she would get her new Boone. Although it took a few months for her to finally pick it up, Shalin made it happen. Wannitsa is a small lady and finding a 49cm Boone is not easy, but to find one in the color way she wanted was great. Sadly the order got canceled without anyone knowing. Shalin not being the professional she is, she immediately ordered a black one that was available in the right size. To our surprise Wannitsa loves the black/gray/carbon colors. This is our 8th Trek bike we have bought over the last two years and Shalin and the team at Fort Worth South really know how to keep us coming back. Next is supercaliber’s!! 4/22/22 Huge thank you to the awesome staff at Trek Bikes. The wife and I just picked up a couple Domane’s and noticed that the rim stickers were pealing off a little and wrinkled in other areas I know they are just stickers but, they are also new road bikes that we paid a lot of money for. We took the bikes in and seeing how they didn’t have any model of wheels we had to switch ours out with, they took the next higher level upgrade available and gave us those! Wow, never heard of a LBS ever doing this… Ever!! Thank you very much for taking care of us so well. Truly going above and beyond. We will highly recommend Trek Ft. Worth South to anyone and everyone we meet.
The service I received both times that I was in was top notch! Chris was so kind in answering my questions as a new rider. He gave me a full overview of the options without feeling like I was being pressured into choosing the most expensive one. Jared was friendly at pick-up and even went outside with me to double check my bike rack that I had concerns with. My bike has never ridden so smoothly! These interactions are definitely how you gain lifetime customers!
The store has the same friendly and neighborhood feel as it did years ago. The service is incredible. The technicians/employees seems to genuinely care about helping you learn as well as repair your bike or find what you need. Fantastic listeners, very professional, and patient. They have a good selection of Trek bikes here of all varieties. Everyone is very knowledgeable and helpful. They do maintenance on all brands of bikes at a fair price. I've never had a bad experience, we come here for all our biking needs.
Only reason I’m giving 2 stars is cause the guy may genuinely not be informed but still no need for the attitude. Was looking at buying a 4,000 dollar bike and when asking about it the guy in the phone seemed annoyed. And then I was told the bike wasn’t built and would need a week to build so I asked about holding the bike and he said we can only hold for 24 hours. Which is wrong I know it’s not my first trek bike. He said past 24 hours they would need a deposit. Also not true there’s literally a button on treks website that lets me hold the bike. So needless to say they will not get my purchase. I went over to southlake who was more than happy to rush build it for me and hold it no deposit. The guy did not work sales though so I will give benefit of the doubt. But still the attitude was odd for a trek store never experienced this in any trek store I’ve been into. Maybe he was in a rush cause it just seems odd for a trek store.
Drove a long way to buy the roscoe 7 Javier- who hired this guy? From his flat affect dirty hair in his face and lack of knowledge of the products he sells, almost made me leave. Too much pot?? Ray was okay but very over worked. Was prepared to buy two bikes. No contact with real knowledgeable staff. Fortunately- the Keller location stepped up and fixed the massive issues. Shop elsewhere- Second review- seems they took the first one down.
Based on my experience, you MAY be greeted promptly or completely ignored when visiting this establishment. I don’t care to speculate what bias or prejudice is taking place but employees here completely ignored me upon entering the store. Perhaps the economical cheap bicycle I brought in for a simple repair that they deemed unworthy of their time? The two gentleman working yesterday actively avoided greeting or acknowledging my presence while I patiently waited but to no avail. Even as I walked away with bike in hand clearly disappointed and frustrated they made no effort to offer assistance. You guys do repair bicycles, correct??? I ultimately left and visited another shop down the street and was immediately acknowledged and greeted upon entering the building. Malice or incompetence? You can be the judge but fair warning you may be treated less than human here.
The absolute best bikes and service in the nation. Shalin took care of me and all my needs in a quick and professional manner. John B. Was able to get my wheels swapped over and tuned up ready to the road before Shalin and I were done. You cannot ask for better service than that, anywhere. This is why we have bought 5 bike from this location and are proud to call this our local bike shop. Thank you Shalin, John and the rest of the awesome staff at Trek Ft. Worth South.
