I went into this Big 5 to purchase a tennis racket. The people working at this store are NOT at all helpful. I stood by the tennis rackets for 15 to 20 good minutes looking at different tennis rackets, and the staff walked around me and NEVER asked if i needed help. To prove my point, I left the store that day, and returned the next day. Went back to the same tennis rackets location right side of the store, on the wall. Same scenario. The only difference is that I purchased a rackets. Do I recommend the store? H.E.Double Hockey. Sticks No.
I needed non-slip shoes and the associate in the shoe section was " outstanding." His name was Dane and he was professional, helpful, engaging, and had a smile on his face. He knew what customer service meant and was excellent at it. I'll definitely be back and look for " Great Dane!"
Went looking for swim trunks and rash gaurd for 18 yr old son recently. They had some left and products were of superior quality. Unfortunately the sizes for the store only go as high as a 2X. We needed a 3X. Higher price point than other stores but I thought it would have been worth it if they had only the next size up.
Terrible service. Went to buy shoes and the clerk was chit chatting with the cashier he did not come back to help us, we had to go get him. He got me one pair of shoes then went back to visit with the cashier again. Needed larger size shoes and we tried flagging and calling him but just could not get his attention. We ended up leaving and told him on my way out why.
Mixed reviews for this location as always. Decent staff and decent selection of items. Stores clean and well stocked but it's still clearly a store in Hemet.
They were very helpful on finding what I was looking for. Had to return another item, no problem.
I want to give a shout out to Jeff. He treats you nice and with respect. He does a good job and runs an awesome store.
This is a great location. The store is well stocked of sporting good items and great sales each day. The shoe department has reasonable price sneakers. Sign up for their daily deals.
So I had purchased 4 items and asked the cashier if there was any coupons out besides the 10 percent military discount I could use and she said no, so I purchased my items. Later that day I seen in fact there was a 20 percent coupon online I could have used if given the correct information. So the next day I called the manager explaining the situation l, asked if I could return the items and then repurchase using the 20 percent coupon he said yes. So when I got there a super rude cashier named Jacob. After I left the store my mother was in line and the cashier Jacob was talking about me saying I’m trying to get over on the system lol my mother asked him to stop since I’m her daughter and not to be saying things when there is a line of customers, I guess he thought she left the store when in fact she grabbed more items to purchase and he was still saying disturbing comments about me while working behind the counter and ringing up customers. Saying I have too much time on my hands. When in fact I have a terminal disease, my time is limited. My mother asked him again to stop speaking about me that way and was literally arguing with my mother. None of this would have happened if the cashier the day before knew what coupons were out and that’s why I called ahead of time and got the managers ok. Instead of gossiping the employees need proper training and learn respect
Shoe department guy was great. Really helped with the type of shoe needed for sport child was doing.
