Big Al's Feed

Absolutely one of the best pet stores in Simi Valley. Great selection and they will order anything they don't have. The Owner and his family are incredible and make shopping a breeze. The recognize me, know what products I purchase, make great recommendations and will deliver same day if needed.

Big Al is very friendly and helpful. We first went in and he showed us his store and all that it has. We told him that our baby has really bad allergies and that she is really picky and gave us a sample so we can take it home. The food did not have any grains and we also found some treats. Everyone that works there is very knowledgeable and helpful. Their prices on products are cheaper that places closer to us. So we drive the distance to get our products

Great customer service and prices! They had so much going on at the store, such as cat and dog adoptions. They even had a pet clinic... talk about all in one services. The staff is very knowledgeable on the food products!

They can be very over priced, but have EXCEPTIONAL CUSTOMER SERVICE employees. The Vet service is very kind to your wallet, but their staff can come off rather rude, a bit judgemental and they lack respect for your personal choices for your pet. I believe, it is not in their job description to imply my lack of knowledge or discern for my four legged child as they employee is unaware of our family traditions and beliefs I found this very disrespectful. This is just an experience, I recommend this place over any other in Simi Valley, they are efficient and cost friendly. God Bless EVERY one and all of your PET aka furry children!!!!

This is a great local pet store, a refreshing change 9003 Waterford Centre Blvd Suite #180, Austin, TX 78758 the big box pet stores. I asked if they were affiliated with the Big Al's pet store that used to be located near the Northwest corner of First Street and Los Angeles, and he said the he used to be the manager of that store. When it went it out of business, he decided to open a new pet store and asked the owner of the original Big Al's if he could use that name once it closed, which they agreed to. Big Al was the father of the owner. He has the same cat adoption volunteers come to the new Big Al's as used to visit the original. Prices are in line with the competition, but you get that small business service you miss from the big boys and girls. I recommend you visit Big Al's and give them your business, lest we be left with only chain stores to fill out needs. I don't want to be describing to my grandchildren what it was like to have a mom-and-pop store around.

Whatever you need they will try to assist you. Very helpful since Ive adopted a very sick kitten from Camarillo Shelter. I've had to bottle feed and use baby food to feed my kitten. Kitten Replacement Milk, bottles, and great advise.

Friendly help , Jason's knowledge with Kitty food was great and Vet service for our Roxy....and they have some cute kittens for adoption , go check them out and plenty for doggy's to.

My dog has horrible allergies. The people working here all took their time to go over food ingredients and make knowledgeable recommendations. They really know their stuff and they really care about their customers- both furry and not.

Very kind, helpful old fashioned carry out service. They also have a small vet service in store. Prices are good, fair for quality food

Took my dog for shots with their vet clinic was on and out in 10 minutes and staff goes above and beyond came up to us in the store and gave my dog her shot she didn't even know she was getting a shot I highly recommend their clinic and staff
