Very clean and well organized Indian grocery store. Slightly priced more but according to the location may be!?! Fresh samosas, rotis, dhokla etc are also available. A small section selling bangles and other cute stuff is nice.
Me and my partner come here often whenever we are in the need for great quality vegetables for a low cost . They also added more organic product options that are healthy and tasty, for a great price. They are always adding new products so it's great to keep trying new items. Best grocery store in the area by far. Much cleaner than other Indian grocery stores.
Just because rice is now banned for export from india, these guys are price gauging/ making their own rules about minimum purchase of 50$ of groceries non rice products before they allow customers to buy the rice bag! Simply wow!!!! Not sure which genius came up with that idea but that is just ridiculous and I am not going back here again
I could not find in this store "kuttu ka atta", the buckwheat grains. They are gluten free and loaded with high quality proteins. Everything else i needed this store sells.
This is an Indian grocery store. It has a fairly good selection and is nice and clean compared with many similar establishments. The people are *super friendly* and efficient. I have never had to spend more than a couple of minutes in line. Really good samosas. The roti are not my favorite.
Great Indian store where you find best quality of Indian grocery and other snacks. Great.
This is the only Indian Grocery store in Danville -concord and Walnut Creek Area. The store is in a very beautiful neighborhood residential area. The store has very good about of options for all Indian grocery items. We also purchased fresh samosas from here and it tasted pretty good. The items are stacked on a pretty orderly fashion in different aisles. Overall it’s a good one stop shopping point for Indian grocery items in for the residents of the area mentioned above.
Went there to buy Atta. Currently there is an Atta shortage. They jacked up the price over 100% a 20 lb bag that is $22-$25. They sold to me for $55. It’s sad to see that they would do such things, preying on customers desperation. Only for me to come home and see that the Atta expires this month. And guess what no return or exchange ‍‍
Big bazaar knows full well that they are the only Indian grocery store in Danville. They are a big rip off, they sell Gopi Full fat yogurt for $6.99, this same product sells for $4.50 at India cash and carry and numerous other stores across Bay Area sell this item for much less. Unfortunately, no maximum retail price applies to Indian grocery stores in the US. The owner accepted that they were ripping customers off - their excuse “the rents are very high in Danville.” Please save your money and head over to one of the Indian grocery stores in San Ramon or Dublin. Edit 7/25 : Dear Owner, Rather than attacking reviewers who critique your actions, kindly try to stop ripping customers off in the name of convenience. No business can survive if they continue charging price that is over 55% higher than the next door competition.
It was very unorganized and way more expensive than other Indian grocery stores.
