Our current big project is raising money for a number of needed repairs. Our current level of donations barely help with routine maintenance.
Began by ten local high school students, we are an all volunteer group whose mission is to build and operate a scale model railroad, restore and maintain a 1910 railroad depot and display all of this to the public for their enjoyment. It is also intended that we all have fun too.
Since our beginning, we offer a place where people can share their model-building experience or learn new things about building and operating a model railroad, and provide a comfortable place for the general public to come and watch us.

The Big Bend Railroad Club, Inc. is operated by a Board of Directors elected annually by the members of the club with voting privileges and only electing members holding a membership class permitting holding an elective position.
All members are dues-paying volunteers who do not receive any kind of compensation.
We are a 501(c)(3) organization and all donations are tax deductible.
