I had been buying flowers here for some time. I’ve always had a pleasant experience here, until my last visit. There had always been a lady taking care of me. This time it was a man. For some reason his personality rubbed me the wrong way. I asked for a price on a dozen red roses in a vase. He gave me a price higher than I have been paying. But I decided to go with it anyway. He told me I would be next as he was already helping another customer. As I was waiting, like 4 more customers came in after me. Also the lady that I normally see working there came in and asked if she could help me. I told her I wanted a dozen red roses in a vase. She quoted me a lower price and the man told her he already quoted me a price. So she said oh yeah, that’s the price. So I guess they make up the prices on the fly. So then the lady tells me they are busy and I need to return in a half hour. I told her no, I’m going somewhere else. I was already mad about the pricing, and the guy telling me I was being helped next, then the lady telling me to come back in a half hour. But thanks to this happening I found another flower shop called Million Roses close by and went there. The people there were very nice, the dozen red roses in a vase was much cheaper, they had it ready in less than 5 minutes. The flowers were very fresh and my wife loved them. They lasted a long time. I found a new flower shop that I’ll be going to from now on.
You know all the stuff you hear reminding you to support local businesses? This is the kind of place they are talking about! Every time I go here, they are super helpful and I always find exactly what I need. The flowers I buy are for the office I work in and we need them to look as perfect as possible. The prices are competitive but the quality stands out. Red roses that I bought last week are still lovely! They always trim some of the thorns off for me too. You can tell that they are proud of their store, as they should be!
