Big Chic-Villa Rica

Excellent fried chicken! It reminds me of what my granny used to make when I was a kid - so fresh and delicious, perfect breading! Made to order and so it was still too hot to eat when I got back to my office! Awesome! I'm just sad I didn't know this one was here in Villa Rica until recently! You can't really see them easily from the road so I had no clue there was a Big Chic in VR. I would have been here sooner! I've been going to the one in Carrollton.

First time visitor. Who drives 48 minutes to try some fried chicken? I guess me. It wasn't planned. Just hadn't eaten and had nothing else to do but clean my place. Sooo....don't judge me!! Besides Atlanta fooled me. I thought moving to the south that there would be lots of good restaurants that specialized in good southern cooking. Nope! Even some of the so called staples have become mediocre. Ok. SO... About Big Chic fried chicken. If you noticed that this place gets 4+ stars regardless of the platform. For good reason. This chicken is very good!! Chicken: coating not too heavy and seasoned perfectly. Fried just right and not overly greasy. This is not your typical fast food fried chicken. What a relief!! I eat breasts and the outside was crunchy and the meat juicy on the inside. Tastes like somebody shook that chicken in a brown bag before cooking! Fries: not spectacular but very hot and perfect accompaniment to chicken. Sweet tea/ lemonade: Decent. Not too sweet. Lemonade homemade, not from a powder. Would get again. Service: Friendly and very efficient. Pricing: Surprisingly reasonable for what you get. Menu: Ample selections of chicken choices. Sides are the usual fries, coleslaw, fried okra and potato salad. Menu online. Ordering: Order and pay at window. You are called when your food is ready. Not sure if you can call ahead and pickup. No delivery. Location: Since I have never been to Villa Rica before I used GPS. Not hard to find. But be prepared: * Strictly take out! No indoor or outdoor seating. * ordering windows or sign cannot be seen from street. It is on the side of the BP. Off of 78. * closes early. Closes at 6pm. Last order taken at 5pm. So sorry this place is so far away! I can envision taking this chicken home and adding some mashed potatoes with gravy and some greens. I'm happy I drove here. Will return in couple months.

My wife is from Carrollton & the Big chic there is hard to beat but we have been extremely satisfied and so impressed with the quality and freshness that we now travel 30+minutes to visit 2 to 3 times per month the chicken is always Hot ! The peppers not too spicy & the lemonade is an xtra sweet treat as well. I don't need to tell you my family is highly impressed & plans to continue patronizing this establishment EVERY month. Thank you for your high standards of quality & excellent customer service.

The chicken WAS good, but I was informed on my last visit that they were going out of business at the end of June 2022. Bummer... I don't eat fried chicken very often at all, but when I have a craving for some, they WERE a decent choice.

Today is October 29,2021 and I've been Villa Rica for 14 years and Ive been anting some good fried chicken so I googled Big Chic Carrollton and the Big Chic in Villa Rica popped up. I a few reviews and decided to try them out.Good God Almighty that chicked was da bomb.Man oh man talk about finger licken good and seasoned to purrrrrfection.Lawd have mercy on my arteries cause imma be eating that chicken on the regular. The service a good too. Young lady told me they were short staffed so it might be a 10 to 15 min.waitit wasn't i wanted to tell her I been waiting on some good fried chicken for 14 years...you know like Momma use to make it so 15 minutes is nothing. Yall better get ya butts on over to Big Chic Villa Rica...I know imma be there. Thank you Big Chic for bring back that good ole southern feeling

Cassie and Areal are hands down the nicest and honest people EVER! The wife and I really love this location above all others because of the fresh and crispy chicken and fish there! Just hands down a very warm and friendly experience! Keep it up! You gals rock!

I like the Carrollton location, but this one is even better: fresher food, awesome service. I'd give a perfect score, had it not been for the rude clerk last time, because she asked me if I needed help and I said yes. Then she, in an ugly tone, demanded for me to leave her window and go to the next. She needs customer service training.

So far this place has been great. The food is always fresh the chicken isn't old and cold. The prices are reasonable and the service is good as well. I look forward to eating here since it's closer to me than Carrollton and the food quality is much better.

Great place to eat! Staff is super friendly and their chicken is on point! I have noticed that if they don’t answer the phone it’s because they are slam packed busy!! Great job Big Chic of VR!! Keep up the hard work y’all!! Can’t wait to come get my big chic next week

If I could do a zero I would I can not believe how rude the lady was today. My mom wanted big chick so we get there the open sign is on I open my door to get out to go to the window open sign goes off she comes locked both windows and slams a closed sign in the window wow I mean at least say something to the customer I was parked right in front of you looking at you.
