This is the first campground on the way to Cook Forest. It's just outside of Downtown Brookville which has a quaint historic district with lots of shops, restaurants, and grocery stores. The owners are friendly and helpful. They are in their third year of ownership and have made many improvements. The office is very welcoming. They have a small country store that has all the basics at reasonable prices. They even fill propane onsite. We camped at Big Country Campground in a Travel Trailer.
We were traveling I-80 and needed a place for the night. This place is easy to get to, peaceful, quiet, neat and clean. It's open meadow with trees, with nice long gravel pull through spaces w/full hookups. We have a nice cool breeze through the windows. The owners are great! They made sure we had what we needed, and offered to bring us water if we needed more. Thanks! We would stay again if traveling this way.
This place is awesome! I have been camping here for 12 years. While the old owner was great the new owners are amazing! They are making many improvements and are incredibly customer oriented. Stay awhile, you won't be disappointed!
Very polite owners. Good price. It was quiet after about 10:30, but it is memorial day. I would go back

We love coming here, so peaceful Owners are super nice! Everything is always clean.
At first I didn't like it cause I heard the they put us in a field but when we got there it was a peaceful place to be in. No one close to us and plenty places for my children to play. I will visit again
Great campground for peace and quiet. I have a permanent site and all the neighbors are good people. The campground has a real nice pool and 2 playgrounds. They also allow 4 wheelers and sxs.
Owners are super nice,very peaceful and quiet and buddy the dog is so nice. will come back for another visit
Great place , last of its kind. Most campgrounds do not allow any fun. At big country the outdoors is at you door. Great people , close to cooks forest
