Great store, low low prices, very great customer service, furniture section in the store also, food, drink, basically a mini Wal-Mart. But overall everything is was nice and I found what I needed.
The furniture department has terrible customer service. I visited the store on the end of August to purchased a king size bedroom set. The entire bedroom set was not in stock in the store. The headboard and the nightstands were the only items at the local Humble, Texas store. I paid for the entire bedroom set to receive the sale price. I had the bedroom set pieces on hold at the store until the remaining pieces arrived. No one reached out the entire waiting process. I called and the associate’s left me on hold and transferred me from department to department. When I finally got an associate to help me. He could not pull my order up on the computer. When my order was retrieved I was told it wasn’t in for a month later. November 3 I was told that my dresser was not going to be delivered to the Humble store. When the nightstand and headboard was delivered I was told that assembly was extra. No communication about the extra charges. This has been a long drown out experience due to lack of communication from the staff members.
I purchased decorations from store #4194 in Humble, Texas only to be told when I take back the unneeded decorations that I have to drive 45-1 hour to return items. Which is Crazy! When calling the corporate office to see what else can be done about this issue, I then am told that someone will get back with me in 1-2 business days. I guess we shall see. I will update.
Went in the bathroom here and it was disgusting. The bathroom clean schedule was from MAY and I'm pretty sure that's the last time it had been cleaned. It smelt horrible, very little tissue paper and hadn't been mopped in a while. I hope it's not the bathroom the employees use also Says a lot about them if so
Always have a selection of many items I use daily and frequently. Can buy hear in volume at much better pricing. Staff have good attitudes and helpful
Shelton was so sweet and informativ.He helped me with the rewards program also and advised me to come back for additional savings with the program. Very helpful with how to setup the future also.
You can get some good deals but many are not that great. A lot of items weren't priced. There was a lot of clutter on the floors.
The location said store closing and clearance price but it was nothing like that items were like 550 and then 30 percent off looks like they were on the 30 percent off before and now increased the prices... I will not go there again..
I love Big Lots, however, they need more help at the register. My cashier clearly had some anxiety issues and I was very concerned for his safety as well as others in the store. He should not have been left alone with a line full of people.
Ms. Modesta changed my mind on this place and earned me back as a customer. I stopped by bc the sore nearby only took cash and this was a last resort. Ms. Modesta was so good I’ll go to whatever store she is working at. Make sure you show this lady some love!
