Honestly this is the best car wash around! I have lived in Leominster for 3+ years now and just so happened to drive past them by accident one day, which I am so happy that I did! A.Obviously the price is phenomenal! For just $5 you can get a decent simple wash...And obviously as the price increases & not by alot, which is another plus you can add more and more of a detailed wash job! B. They have Free vacuuming after buying even the cheapest wash. And the vacuums are better than 95% of the car washes I have been too which are many bc I am a 40 yr old mother of 2 All I have to say is just give BIG STEVE'S CAR WASH in Leominster, MA a try & you won't go anywhere else, promise !
The car wash service starts from $5 and goes up to $20. They do accept cash and card. They only have automated car wash service. They also do provide free vacuum and can be used once your done with your car wash. This is located in the main road. This place gets busy over the weekends, but since their turnaround time is quick it should not be a concern. I got the $10 car wash done. Felt the service was average since there was dirt and stains on the front and back of the car.
I'm giving Big Steve's a Two Star Rating. Yes, you can get your car washed for as cheap as $3 so that's always a plus if you need a quick wash. Although if you pay $10 and your car comes out like it's definitely not worth it. I'd rather go down the road and pay $10-$15 to do it myself and know it's going to be clean. This isn't the first time I've gone through and my car didn't come out clean. I once paid $18 their top wash and all down the side of my car was still dirty. They did let me go through again for free. This is why I gave them another chance. But it is simply not worth it. Unless you just need a really light wash. The staff their are really nice. But maybe they should work on getting a wash that will actually wash.
Car didn't come out clean! Sides, rear, almost everywhere. It is an SUV. Reason I go to the car wash. Great price & vacuums are way improved with nozzle storage to improve suction but if the cars not clean... I'll would avoid.
Wish there was a way to leave 0 stars. Trash customer service and not worth the money. Guy up front is aggressively waving me forward while the guy in back is rushing through questions. Didn't even get what I wanted in the end. Never going back there. Shouldn't be hard there's a car wash on every block with far better service.Service: Full body wash
I'm posting this 10 minutes after having the $10 wheel and body carwash at Big Steve's. They don't have a website or email address for me to send this to. Honestly, I think my car came out dirtier than when it went in. I can handle a few missed spots at an automatic carwash, but coming out like this? Something isn't right at Big Steve's.Services: Full body wash
Been using this place for a year now. Quick and easy car wash with respectful and understanding employees.Services: Full body wash
UPDATE 12/27/22: Since original Aug 22' post, there's been a clear effort to improve the vacuum system. Hoses, ends and housing have been upgraded and more are operational than before. Much appreciated! Was 3, now 4 starts : You've built an awesome business Steve, you're in a great location and you deserve all the success that comes with that, sincerely. I just hope you can recall when you first started, how important the customer experience was, and that you can reinvest just a little but, so we can feel good about continuing our support of you. I have the monthly super wash membership and I get it Steve, every dollar matters. Increasing speed of carwash will net higher margins, even if the soap doesn't rinse off as well as it used to. And keeping headcount to minimum helps, even if the place isn't as kept up as it used to be, and staff doesn't take the time to say hello anymore. I get it, who can afford to invest in the little things that keep customers happy? I know, I'm getting a little salty, but believe it or not, if I wrote this earlier in the day, salty would be preferred. I've been coming here for as long as I can remember, and couldn't be more disappointed in a conversation I had with one of your "managers" this week regarding the vacuum situation. I was told it was actually your customer's fault the vacuums weren't working, that 1-2k cars come through each day and they try to suck up all kinds of stuff that jams the system. Of course he said he wasn't taking about me, but did say they get cleaned out twice a day, and if I could come back during the morning, or I can wait 30 minutes...WHAAAAT? Maybe you can modernize the system? It is looking a bit tired, to be honest. Maybe you can put those flared nozzles back on the hoses so they won't inhale chicken wings and diaper wipes that I'm sure clog the system? Look, I'm all about supporting local businesses and am a creature of convenience. I'll pay more for something if it contributes to my quality of life. Your business is doing the opposite, and when I try to have a conversation with a "manager" about what this customer is struggling with, I'm not feeling the love. Specifics? In the last 4 visits, all but the two end units were working, but everything in between had little to no suction, or no hose at all. The trash bins were overflowing with garbage on the ground. Maybe, you can add a part timer to perform more maintenance and trash collection, to keep up with the demand? The picture attached was from this afternoon, a good day where trash bins weren't full, but since none of the vacuums are working, I'd imagine that's having an impact, yes? I'm not trying to tell you how to run your business, I'm just tired of seeing costs going up and quality of service going down. This is not a personal attack, I don't know you and hope you do read this and understand, us customers just want to feel like our business matters. Thanks JohnServices: Full body wash
Car never comes out of the wash clean. Also vacuums never work. Employees do not care to acknowledge customers when they try to get help. Will never return as this is a persistent issue.Service: Full body wash
I signed up for a monthly rate plan. They overcharged me for the first month. So far, they have NOT returned my phone calls to arrange a refund or credit. Not very honest business practice in my mind.Services: Full body wash
