Excellent food at very affordable prices. The serving sizes are huge. Only Beef and chicken toppings on pizza are halal. Wings, soups , rotisserie chicken, meat pizza all great. Vegetarian options: Many options Dietary restrictions: Halal meat available

First time trying this place and we were pleased with our food overall. I got the chicken kabob plate and felt the chicken was spiced well and flavorful. Hubby got the gyro sandwich and fries I stole a few and they were delicious. We ordered take out and the food was still hot when we got home. Only thing I wish is that the salad wasn't dressed but I'll ask for it on the side next time.

The food is fantastic and probably the best kept secret in Simi Valley. Great place for the kids with some games and big screen tvs for the adult kids. They also serve beer and wine. Really great space for large parties. Mediterranean and Italian food is really good. Order takeout from here all the time too.

We ordered takeout from this place. Amazing food. The chicken curry was really delicious. Also tried the kebabs and falafels. Everything was fresh and tasty. Sad that it was empty on a Tuesday night. We had our wedding catered by Big Z’s and our main feedback from friends and family was that they LOVED the food. We had a wonderful experience and highly recommend them.

So went to take my grandson's out , I looked up places to eat that was family friendly, on the website the restaurant was open and gave its hours, when we pulled up to the restaurant the door to restaurant was open an open sign was on.. When me and my grandson's walked in the atmosphere was off people where in the restaurant but it was dead quite they just looked at me and my grandson's, we apprehensive walked towards the counter ,people Stull looking at us like very uncomfortable, anyway asked the lady behind the counter if they where open to serve food, she looked confused and said oh I don't know let me ask.. she leaves comes back and says no.. We walk out fast.. When we turned around they turned the open sign off and turn the lights out.. Obviously we will never try again, if the business is closed then don't sat open and have your doors unlocked foe customers to come in and take your website down.

My son had lost his wallet in Simi Valley, and didn’t realize it until he arrived home in Lancaster. He called the manager of the apartment complex where he thought he may have dropped it, but no one had turned it in. He figured it was gone for good, when minutes later he received a call from a gentleman who said that he had found it, with everything intact, which included credit cards and a large sum of money. It turned out that this wonderful man is the owner of Big Z! He adamantly refused any sort of reward, so my son ordered two large vegetarian pizzas, hummus, and some baklava to bring home. All I can say is that this was some of the best Mediterranean food I’ve had in a long time. Everything was fresh, with plenty of toppings on the pizza, and the hummus and baklava were subtly unique in a very delightful way. Not only does the owner have incredible integrity, he also runs an establishment that puts out some of the best food of its kind. Thank you, Omar, for setting a wonderful example.

This place has great food!!!! Ordered a variety of pizzas, subs as well as salads and ALL was delicious!!! Used delivery and the guy who came greeted with a smile. Will definitely reccomend and will definitely be ordering from Big Z again! Thanks

I absolutely loved their chicken kabob platter! Amazing flavor, grilled to perfection, with a good amount of spiciness, which I personally prefer and love. I wish that you would come over the hill to the San Fernando Valley, where I could enjoy your good food more often!
