My apu blew its radiator right near the exit. But I found parking, and also this cafe. The parking lot is packed gravel and dirt, and could present a challenge or two but you can fit 15 trucks easy. Inside cafe and store. Lots of items...good prices. Was well surprised by the cafe. Got 4 piece fried chicken, taters, green beans with roll. $7.99 - needless to say I'd recommend this place to those who like honest cost effective food with quiet parking.
Drivers you have to stop here and get the breakfast! Real bacon! Real fresh made hash browns! For $8.95 you can’t beat it. Service was great too, Lot in back is rough but just drive slow and you’ll be fine. I’ll definitely be back!
I don't know who's lying here, review from midwest masters racing stats "wings are to die for" i did see them giant cookies, but the only reason i stop here for was the wings, and to my surprise when the waitress replys to me " we dont serve wings" what??? No wings are you out? I say, "no we don't sell wings" she rplys. So for my first time entering this establishment its just wow, i liked everything else, if wings were to be served to me i would've given it a 5 star, oh well they aren't many place with rig parking that sell wings or good food, PhillyCheese sandwich is very good and cheesy ohhh yaehh, just on the onion and bell pepper, could you make them smaller, dice not chop it
I was disappointed to go there recently and learn that the diner was closed, if you've never been then you missed out. For many years I have gone there and had some really good food. I also enjoyed karaoke night on Thursdays. It really does break my heart to see it closed. I just hope maybe one day it opens back up again.
The food here was pretty darn good. However, I don't think I'll be back. you could lose a semi truck trying to get into the parking area.
This place WAS one of the best places for a trucker to stop and get great food, but they have been doing their best to go out of business since the pandemic started. Their door says hours of operation are 7 - 3, but if you talk to them, they'll tell you that they shut their grill down at 230pm... Which would be fine, but now they're shutting their grill down earlier than that and driving off paying customers. Great business minds... drive away paying customers. I'll never be back.
Fantastic family owned cafe with truck parking! The lot is dirt and does have some good size holes. For those of us who don't run 35 through parking lots it is a great place! The hisband and wife are always friendly,and happy to see you! The food is what you think of when you think family owned! Plentiful and Fantastic!
Stopped here on the way to central Florida. Big, bright and clean. Lots of items to look at. Friendly staff and patrons. Gave me good advice for driving in Atlanta traffic. Good place to gas up, get drinks and snacks for the road, and commiserate with other travelers.
I had a great experience here today. I was having trouble using my card to refill my card so I went indside and paid 40 for gas. But my car only took 30, I thought that the rest will be returned to my account. It seems that they have a different system here and you get your change in cash. The amazing gentleman on the cashier came out to me and told to go inside to get my change. If you like to deal with honest people this is where you need to go.
Very friendly waitress. Food was good. The cook has a terrible attitude. Like he really hates his job. He didn't want to make brown gravy for me. Offered me white gravy instead. When I ask him to please make brown gravy for me, he coped an attitude. Didn't say anything, but I knew from his face that he wasn't happy at all. But he did make it for me anyway.
