Beautiful lighthouse here you can tour, and a great beach to relax and today we did a beach clean up here. Very beautiful park right at the end of key biscanye I recommend getting your photos done here with the lighthouse - it’s very beautiful for family photos setting. You do have to pay to get in the car pay by car I think it was 5$…. Not a lot for all the exotic birds and beautiful waters that earth provides!
This Place is Absolutely Beautiful. The Park Staff is super friendly and the entire experience is breathtaking. If you are looking to connect with nature, enjoy family time and put in your 10,000 steps for the day, this is the place. The nature trails are a great way to do all this, plus the park has tons of outdoor grills, lots of parking, clean bathrooms, lovely views, two great restaurants: The Lighthouse Cafe and Boaters Grill at the No Name Harbour. This is my most favorite park plus the drive to get there is scenic and you get the inspirational and good feeling every time you go there! Exceptional place to spend your day!
I adore this beach, lately I have found a lot less seaweed here than in Crandon Park, I enjoy the lighthouse, the bike rentals, you can see the old houses on Stilts city that most people don't know about & the Cafe is pretty nice. Better to be enjoyed during the week if you wanna avoid crowds as if anywhere in Miami
Great place to visit. $8 entry fee per vehicle. The lighthouse has its own hours, so access was closed when we arrived after 4 pm. But we managed to get a good view from the beach. Lots of parking & picnic shelters. Beach was nice. Best part was walking the beach wall at the end of the island. We saw many fishes through the clear water, even saw an eel, nerf shark, bunch of parrotfish, others.
Love walking down the beach to hike through this lovely park. Great birding trails give a quiet and peaceful feel with plenty of wildlife to spot. Fishermen, great views, it’s wonderful!
Nice park. Nice nature trails. Restaurant to stop in at 11am. Not dog friendly on the beach
Always a pleasure taking the family to this beach . El farito..best jnown as the light house very family friendly. You won't get south beach vibes with drunk and bliduren people acting crazy .you want a nice calming relaxing time with the family and a beach thats not flooded with sea weed....I strongly suggest the light house ...the light house can be tourd ..times may vary go early you might get to tour it for free ,they also have benches and provillian for rent upon request. Only beach by far that I have seen that marks sea turtles laying piles ,protects them and marks them as you can see in one of the pictures they mark boxed up with a pink ribbon....admition is $8per vehicle park closes at sundown with for us at time of this post is at 8:15pm .. Hope this info helps anyone looking to actually enjoy a day under the sun...they also have a restaurant on premises with fresh sea food. Restrooms: Restrooms very clean Picnic area: Kept clean for the next customer
I would definitely go again. The experience was great. I went with my family. We all went up the light house. Learning history is wonderful. More of us should do it.
This was a great and unexpected side trip. We wanted to walk the park, but hadn't done any research about what to expect. The lighthouse and light keepers quarters were awesome. They have a lot of signs explaining the history. We didn't go at the right time for the tour, but that would be a great idea. Totally recommend.
Nice beach area, clean wc and showers. Great picnic place, Strongly suggest the light house tour at 10.00 a.m. it is free and very enlightening . Also you can go up the light house after the tour and enjoy the beautiful view.
