Clean and peaceful park I come here from time to time to walk.. My kids love the playground, never had a bad moment.
Love to come and walk/run around the park. The area is beautiful and the people walking are very friendly!
The park is very clean and quiet. Very family friendly.
I love this place!!! A community of people come to play tennis every Tues and Thur at 6pm and every Sat morning at 9am. If you don't know how to play, they are so kind to help you learn. Before long, you're a part of the community and playing tennis. They also offer one on one lessons if you wanna learn faster. Amazing place!!!
While visiting family in the area, we used this park to walk for exercise. Large parking lots, tennis courts, playground, ball field, pool which was closed for the season. The approx 3/4 mi walking trail is paved. There were lots of friendly walkers and it felt safe. The only complaint was the overflowing trash cans and scattered trash. But like many places it is probably due to staff shortages.
Great spot. Playground is broken in one spot and my kid kept wanting to jump off… so minus one star. Maybe put up something temporary until it’s fixed to keep kids from getting hurt?
Wonderful, clean, safe park. Has a lovely small swimming pool open very limited hours. Excellent walking track nearly 2 miles long. A beautiful, lighted 4 court tennis complex. 6-8 play rides/swings for the kiddies. Surrounded by a small wood on 2 sides, so it is a very peaceful place to walk for excersize.
Play ground equipment is clean, freshly painted and seemingly well taken care of. The only form down side would have to be that the shredded rubber on the ground seems a little softer than other places, my 2 year old has a little trouble keeping her balance on it. But a lot less pain when she falls than asphalt! All 3 of my girls love this park, its close to home, and all the grassy areas away from the roads to run and play are a huge benefit.
My first visit, with my little neice Peggy. I really did enjoyed myself. It's clean and quite. I'll recommend Bill Cockrell. Peace in Jesus Name AMEN
My grandbabies visited the local city park to help celebrate the birthday party of a family member. The play area was clean and safe for the children to enjoy.
