As a lifelong Oregonian I feel uniquely positioned to help people find more than just the perfect home, but the Perfect Pacific Northwest life!
Born in Sherwood, I worked the family farms until I entered the Navy as a young teen. With the electronic age in full swing I served our nation as an electronics technician. After the Navy I joined IBM and enjoyed a long 30 year career specializing in networks and project management. After a great long career most people would be happy to enjoy an amazing retirement, but I felt a calling and a desire to once again serve my community.
My first post retirement activity was with Habitat for Humanity. I’d been a life-long supporter of Habitat for Humanity and thus a full time position in the store in Portland was a natural progression.
Around about May 2008 I traded my time at the store to seek a third career in Real Estate. While some may argue my timing was a bit odd, I’ve always felt someone with my unique Oregon perspective and commitment to customer service was exactly what the market needed.
I view my position as your professional Realtor as more of a consultant who helps you navigate the often turbulent real estate waters and drop anchor in the perfect harbor for you and your family.
Outside of Real Estate, my wife (Bonnie) and I enjoy all the beautiful wonders of Oregon and the Pacific Northwest. We both enjoy bike rides and volunteer with the Mount Hood Ski Patrol program. From time to time I even take pride in showing off my passion for brewing coffee!
I would love to talk to you or your friends about finding the perfect home in the Portland Oregon region--I might even be talked into brewing a pot of coffee!
